Got this for free at a white elephant at a market and it was alright. There were some bits I liked but otherwise it was all praise-god-or-whatever and like a white woman's bookshelf addition that she'll never touch. Y'know Bo Burnham's "white woman's Instagram?" song? Yeah same vibes. Anyway. Noice.
This little gem of a book follows the months and seasons w/ exquisite poetry. The compilation of poems comes from such poetys as Longfellow and Rosetti, to less known poets (at least to me)such as, Carmen and 'anonymous'. The book is small enough to carry it around if ever you're bored in a doctor's office or waiting in line and want to be refreshed.
Poetry to me has always been short insights of whimsy and wisdom. This book doesn't fall short of any of that.
