Rate this book
All of her family is an inspiration in writing this book and going through the journey. Alice believes that her experiences in growing up and dealing with some of life's hardest lessons will help someone else who may have to travel that same path. She is someone who grew up on a farm and got by the best they could with very little most days. The greatest lessons learned and taught by her mother are the very ones that she found herself dealing with as her mom got older and ended up with the disease, Alzheimer's. She challenges you to read and follow along in this true story of living with Alzeheimer's in hopes that you to will be touched by the life they live and her prayer is that if you have to go through it that you will learn the many ways that you can still be there and love this person, though your sanity may be gone. It is a compassionate story from the heart that not only helped to heal the author but will also heal others who might face it.
