Slipping Under

Rate this book
Three novellas in which reality is slightly bent.

In "Slipping Under", an unassuming man living an unassuming life wakes to find he's "slipped under" the notice of humankind, and even his partner no longer sees him. He'll need the help of other lost souls to find his way back.

In "A Not-So-Grimm FairyTale" a handsome prince, cursed by a witch, must find his one true love before others can see him as he really is.

In "Beyond the Veil", a young medical student seeks his lover, apparently lost in a distant country. He believes against all evidence that he will see his beloved again, but the path to happiness is longer, harder and stranger than he ever imagined.

Ann Somerville grew up in one of Australia’s prettiest small cities. In 1989, she left Australia with a BA and a burning ambition to see more of the world and its people, and to discover this ‘culture’ thing people kept telling her about. In 2006, she returned home to Southeast Queensland with two more degrees (this time in science and IT), an English husband and a staggering case of homesickness, vowing never to leave Australia again.

Her long, plot-driven fiction featuring gay and bisexual characters has been published by Samhain Publishing and elsewhere.
