This is an omnibus containing the first 3 eBooks in Moon's Celestial Nites series. It is written like a serial; which is a set of continuing short stories each beginning where the previous left off. Much like the 1940s and 1950s Flash Gordan series of little movie shorts, The Shadow radio shorts (of “Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of men? The Shadow knows!" fame) and much more recently, like Stephen King's originally released The Green Mile as a series of shorts of about about 90 - 140 pages every month for six months. Since it is written as a serial, this review is going to treat this as a book with 3 parts.

This erotic paranormal romance features Celeste, a petite vampire, sexy alpha male Jacques, who we find out in the second part is a mage, and his equally sexy brother, Armand, also a mage, who we meet in the second part.

The first part, Claiming Celeste, finds Jacques intrigued with Celeste who comes in the club every night to dance first with a partner or two, then dancing by herself and then goes home alone. He decides he has to have her and implements a plan to seduce her by dancing with her once every night. Very seductive and a 3 on the sensual scale of 1-4.

The second part, Hunting Celeste, has Celeste accidentally seducing Jacques where after she is on the run to NJ. Following her in fear of her safety, Jacques and his brother, Armand, when they find her, seduce her in a limousine in a sexy, hot ménage à trois. And then again in a hotel. They don't understand why she keeps leaving them at the end of the night when they are asleep. I give this a sensual rating of 4 out of 4.

In the third part, Sharing Celeste, she has disappeared again and the brothers are on the hunt for her again. When they find her, Armand, the less dominate brother, takes the lead to find out why she is running and won't stay with them. He talks her into a compromise and then seals the deal with some steamy post negotiation celebrating. Jacques walks in and decides he needs in on the celebration. This part gets a sensual rating of 3 out of 4.

This is a great story. I look forward to the next omnibus of 3 eBooks, to see where the story goes. Give this a lot more story material/substance and this could make a great full length erotic paranormal romance novel.

Don't miss this because you don't like continuing series stories. Fans of the paranormal romance and vampire genres should enjoy this. I certainly did.

Celeste Nites is a lovely little collection of Clarrissa Lee Moon's first three Celeste, including Claiming Celeste, Hunting Celeste, and Sharing Celeste. These stories serve to establish the main characters, introduce us to Celeste’s situation, and basically arouse our interest.

Oh, and when I say ‘arouse’ our interest, that wording is very deliberate!

Multiple point-of-view (POV) stories have a tendency to annoy me, but I love the way in which Clarrissa uses the format here. Instead of jumping between POVs throughout the narrative, or arbitrarily introducing a different POV to transition a scene, she allows the characters to share the story. The POV shifts are deliberate, significant, and evenly paced. It’s a really exciting way in which to explore the story, creating two separate narratives that don’t yet merge in these first three tales, but which come closer as the story moves along.

One story is that of Celeste, the beautiful vampire, hunted by a spurned (and homicidal) ex-lover. We get to indulge in her dancing, in her careful means of self-expression, always aware of the risks of allowing a new lover to get too close. The other story is that of Jacques and Armand, human brothers with an amorous, protective, almost possessive interest in Celeste, but little understanding of her true situation.

There’s a dangerous game being played out between the three would-be lovers, but they’re all playing by different rules, and with a different perspective on the game.

When the lovers eventually do come together - first as a pair, and then as a ménage-a-trois - Clarrissa turns up the heat, taking an already smouldering story, and drawing us into a fiery tale of exaggerated passion. The sex is, quite simply, stunning . . . erotic and intense, building to one climax after another, until we’re left breathless, almost unable to continue. Although we don’t get to explore a lot of Celeste’s vampiric nature, there’s a darkly threatening potential for violence that adds yet another level of intensity to the story.

Ultimately, we don’t see much of Henry (the homicidal ex) in these stories, but that’s okay. He’s well-established as a threat, and we even get a glimpse into his motivation that promises an even more interesting story ahead. Celeste is a compelling character from page one, but it takes a bit of time for us to warm up to Jacques. Actually, it isn’t until Armand is introduced, and we begin to explore the weirdly symbiotic relationship between the brothers, that he begins to transform into a character worthy of Celeste’s attentions - and ours.

Overall, this is a fantastic collection of stories that serve as the first installment of a much larger story. Erotic, exciting, and well-told, it's a welcome addition to the realm of paranormal romance.

Ms. Moon gives us the first trilogy about Celeste Nite, a vampiress that has an ex-boyfriend stalking her. The author gives us the story in novella form, each full of rich details and steamy erotica, written in sections whereby the reader is allowed into the minds of each main character.

The First Novella is titled Claiming Celeste. Celeste is spending each night dancing alone, afraid to show any interest in a man. Her ex-boyfriend Henry stalks her, wanting her to turn him into a vampire, and has killed each lover she has chosen. Jacques watches her each night and decides he wants her to share his bed. Jacques teases Celeste on the dance floor then leaves her. This intrigues Celeste and after several nights of being teased, she forms a plan to draw out her stalker. One night when she leaves the club, Celeste allows Henry to attack her so she can kill him, but Jacques sees what is happening and rescues Celeste. Upset that her plan has gone awry Celeste grabs Jacques and goes home with him. The night is spent exploring each other in every way possible. Celeste never tells him that she is a vampire.

The Second Novella is titled Hunting Celeste. Jacques wakes up to find Celeste gone and becomes concerned about the man that attacked Celeste the night before. Jacques’ brother Armand joins him to look for Celeste after being told about the stalker. The previous night Armand had been able to watch the lovers, as the bedroom door had been open, and was interested in having Celeste as soon as his brother was finished with her. After searching all day Jacques and Armand find Celeste and take her into their limo against her wishes. What happens during the ride is beyond anything Celeste has experienced before. Jacques decides to ‘punish’ Celeste and lets his brother join in. The ride becomes very steamy and hot for all three.

The Third Novella is Sharing Celeste. After a night of delving into a new world of erotic sex and sharing a woman for the first time, the brothers wake to find they again have to search for Celeste. They are unsuccessful and finally decide to bribe a gang to lead them to Celeste. After arriving at her door, Armand tells Jacques he should be the one to talk to Celeste. Jacques agrees and Celeste is awakened by Armand. He questions why she leaves every morning, doesn't she care for them? Does she have someone else in her life? Celeste assures Armand that she cares for both men, and has no one else in her life. A compromise is reached by both: the nights will be spent with the brothers but during the day she has to leave. They seal their compromise with more hot and very steamy sex. Armand and Jacques still aren’t aware that their lover is a vampire, and Celeste isn’t told about a third brother…or that the brothers have a secret of their own.

Ms. Moon has rich detail in each novella, a way of relating the forming relationships to the reader, that draws the reader in and makes them feel each emotion and touch. There is a lot of description that keeps the reader on edge and turning pages quickly, only to go back and savor each scene.

There are small issues with the stories; one being Armand talks about a scene in the limo. What he states and what actually happens aren‘t quite the same. Secondly, in one Novella Jacques is dominant yet in the last Novella he isn’t quite as dominant and it feels out of character.

I would highly recommend this book to any friend over the age of 18 that has a strong heart and can handle the heat this trilogy emanates. 4 3/4 STARS OUT OF 5

This was a nice little trilogy with more to come.

In Claiming Celeste, we get introduced to Celeste a vampire who happens to be trying to get an old boyfriend to come out into the open so that she can dispose of him. So she has a pattern and goes into a night club night after night trying to get him jealous. But the only one she succeeds in making jealous is Jacques, who becomes enthralled with the way she moves on the dance floor. He makes plans to seduce her. But the tables turn and instead of using her, he becomes the one seduced by all of her. And with that seduction he falls hard and becomes protective, overbearing.

In Hunting Celeste, Jacques and his brother Armand have to track her to Jersey because she has taken off in her quest to rid herself of her stalker ex. Here they track her to a hole in the wall dump of a bar and both end up seducing her in a limo. And the things those sexy brothers do leave you panting for some yourself. But, the temptation of having both isn’t enough to keep her safe. She is loving th4e time with both but is still isn’t enough to change her mind and off she goes again.

Finally in Sharing Celeste, Jacques who tends to be overbearing decides to let Armand talk some sense into Celeste. Armand ends up getting her all hot and bothered and maybe even a reader or two, as he proves to be a smooth operator.

This short little trilogy was steamy and left you wanting to read the next installment to find out if these two hot brothers can sway Celeste to their way of thinking out of bed, because they have her in bed. Maybe they should think about keeping her there. But to do that she must let them in on her secret, she’s a vampire.

Celeste Nites Series
Clarissa Lee Moon

I actually bought the included stories in their individual formats. I found this series while I was checking out the author’s Nightwolves series. The Nightwolves books are in my wish list for near future purchase - but at this great price, I just had to go ahead and snatch up the 3 stories in the Celeste Nites series and start reading them.

These stories are short in length, but certainly not short in action or romance. Hot and steamy in several places (each story steamier than the previous one) – intended for mature readers only.

Claiming Celeste, Hunting Celeste and Sharing Celeste are the three stories in the book – each also available individually.

Claiming Celeste
Jacques, a rich businessman, has his pick of women and tires of them quickly. When he notices a beautiful woman always following the same routine in one dance club and always alone, he wants to know more about this mystery woman. Asking around, he finds out her name and the agreements she has with the bouncer and bartender to allow her to be alone while at (and leaving) the club. But he doesn’t find out that she is a vampire or that she has another secret that killed her previous lovers. Her refusal to sleep with him has him wanting her even more and he sets out on a path of seduction so that he can get her out of his system.

Hunting Celeste
Without knowing the true source of Celeste’s trouble, Jacques is determined to protect her. He and his brother Armand go on the hunt to find and rescue her. Their family has its own secret that may help them.

Sharing Celeste
Without giving away too much, the title pretty much says it all. ~grin~

I had heard, along with her new Nightwolves Series which has been highly rated here at Amazon, Clarrissa Lee Moon has released a new Erotic and Paranormal Romance Novella. I was excited from what I had heard, and decided to download this for an evenings read. I was not dissappointed.

Celeste hides many secrets, the biggest secret we learned is that she is a Vampire... We find her in a bar/club dancing 'alone' nightly, leaving the club 'alone' and being watched by a rich financier who wants to seduce her....

The Three parts of this Novella are called Claiming Celeste, Hunting Celeste and Sharing Celeste. What an interesting way to divide the story line. The titles are self explanatory and should peak your interest without my giving away too much of the storyline..

Ms Moon has written the beginnings of a sensual and erotic story . I see this is the First Novella for this story. We have only learned a small part of where this story might lead. Cannot wait to read the next in the series...

Mature reading though

I got this as a First Read give away from Goodreads and Clarissa lee Moon. And I say thank you. This consists of three novellas about Celeste, a vampire and the two brothers who want her. As a big fan of mostly anything from Samhain publishing and Elloras Cave, who publish erotic short stories, I have to say i like this series. I actually want more! There are some hot scenes, especially the ones involving all three of the main characters. I'm looking forward to more from this author and will keep my eye out for more in the future.
A special thanks to Goodreads and Clarrissa Lee Moon for this free first read!

I thought these 3 books were very well written and were very 'juicy' and 'spicy'. I enjoyed reading these books and can't wait to read the next books in this series. I would highly reccommend these books to any lover of vampires, magick/wizards/witches, stalkers/power hungry fools, and steamy situations:) Celeste is my favorite character, I love her whole demeanor. The boys aren't too bad either:) hehe. Can't wait to read more from Clarrissa Lee Moon!

Celeste Nites by Clarrissa Lee Moon is an intriguing Vampire erotica novella. The exquisitely beautiful vampire Celeste unintentionally hijacks the affections of two rich, powerful, and sizzling hunk brothers Jacques and Armand. While Celeste is attempting to rid the world of her evil ex lover Jacques and Armond continue to waylay her plans as she is equally attracted to them. This novella is packed to the hilt with red-hot erotic scenes while maintaining a powerful plot.

Now having read two of Clarrissa lee Moon's novels she has a true talent in illustrating with extreme detail erotic scenes while keeping the plot embedded and developing within her stories. There aren't too many authors who share this talent making her stories unique. Her words flow and transition easily from one page to the next which keeps the reader hooked and wanting more.

Celeste Nites is a provocative and captivating must read novella.
