While I still prefer the world-building of Pixie Hollow pre-movies, this is still a lovely addition to its universe. I appreciated that the book didn't retcon itself too much, with the only real major differences having no Mother Dove, and Clarion implied to be a more ancient fairy queen (which is what I always believe, anyway). And I do think that the simplicity of Talents in the movie-verse makes more sense than the, ah, extra detailed ones from the previous ones lol.
Lovely artwork per usual, and a wonderful addition to my growing Disney Fairies collection.
I haven't seen any of the Pixie Hollow ones, but this was pretty cute. Tink and all of her friends where the fairy dust grows. Though I was a bit disappointed to learn that without being given fairy dust daily, they can't fly. Kinda ruins Peter Pan for me. More than Once Upon a Time did (and that show really made Peter Pan ridiculous.)
The art in this book is just gorgeous. And the world of pixie hollow is the cutest. I love all the details about the fairies lives and work. They are so industrious with a great attention to detail and beauty. Inspires me to be more creative!
Another book I read to my son over the course of a few nights. It was a lovely depiction and explanation of the different fairies and world in which they live in. We enjoyed it very much, the artistry was dead-on Disney and beautiful. We enjoyed it very much, a great night-time read with your child.
Beautifully done and informative book, with superb illustrations that bring to life Pixie Hollow and its denizens. This is the sort of oversized, sumptuous publication that electronic media could never do justice.
This book was a pleasure to read and view. The illustrations are gorgeously rendered and the text is quite informative of Pixie Hollow and its captivating residents. If you're a fan of the Disney Fairies or have children who enjoy them, I highly recommend this book.
The book had so many pages, it took two hours to finish the book. It was overwhelming, very informative, and very long (I have already told you that, right?). I loved it!
