This was a nice read although a bit diluted. The premise was fun: h hires the H to pose as her escort/boyfriend to help her get a work promotion -VP of the company at 30 years old, no less! The H has quite a few things up his sleeve, but don't read the spoiler if you plan on trying out this book:
The book had a few nice twists, but they were underexecuted. SPECIALLY the last one - the H literally just reveals it to the h at his doorstep. The H and h had a few awkward initial encounters, like a hug or a dance, which remained in my mind a bit more than I would have liked - I prefer the first-touch-and-they're-on-fire trope personally. Very clean romance with a kiss and a hug here, a caress there. HEA and I am definitely going to read the next novel cz Gray & Emma's background story intrigues me!

I read all three books in the Wedded Blitz trilogy, but this one was my favorite. Tess, Emma and Raina make a pact to matchmake if they are not married by age 30. Tess meets with the Matchmaker Committee to help her friends. She does not know that the committee means to matchmake her. The committee sends Shadye to assist her. Little does Shadye know that the committee has picked him for Tess.

Twists and turns
Well written. Easy to read. A decent plot. Acceptable storyline. No unnecessary melodrama. A book to pass the time in any journey.
