Jesus: His School Years

The Bible tells us of Jesus' birth and of His being in the temple in Jerusalem when He was a boy of 12. But then there is no further mention of Him until about 20 years later when He starts His ministry. Where was He? Why did the Bible not say? Mr. Parks found where God gave instructions, through His Prophets, for the preparation of a place in the wilderness for His Son Jesus. The instructions were followed. A place was prepared. And it was at this place in the wilderness that God's human Son was secluded during his formative years. It was there that Jesus prepared to become the Messiah. Mr. Parks learned how and to whom God gave the instructions of exactly what to teach His Son. He learned the reason for secrecy of the whereabouts of Jesus during this period of seclusion. He found ruins of the school, and from fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient documents, he pieced together the schoolbooks that Jesus studied. The book describes all of these events and shows photographs of the ruins, illustrations of computer re-constructions of the school as it appeared when Jesus was there, and presents the "lessons" taught to Jesus. The lessons are presented in both Hebrew as found in the scrolls and in the English translations. These lessons are then compared to the teachings of Jesus as documented in the four Gospels of the Bible. This has all been documented in a 304 page book with 71 original illustrations in a 6 X 9 Perfect Bound Paperback with beautiful 4 color-laminated covers.

My principal interests are true stories of the unusual or of the previously Unknown or unexplained, although I also write fiction.
After graduating from Mississippi State University as an aerospace engineer I moved to Orlando Florida and worked for Lockheed Martin for 24 years, advancing to a Vice President of the Company and President of the Tactical Weapons Systems Division.
I continued my education with a MBA from Rollins College and with Post Graduate Studies in Astrophysics at UCLA; Laser Physics at the University of Michigan; Computer Science at the University of Florida; and Finance and Accounting at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
After retiring I produced 10 films, directed 7 and wrote 5 all at Universal Studios.
I formed UnknownTruths Publishing Company to publish my books of past events so unbelievable that most people have relegated them to "myths".
I have published 22 books and have an additional 9 in development.
