I was born in New York City and grew up there and in Western Massachusetts. I began writing while pursuing my master's degree. My first novel, Ride a Dark Horse, filled most of a spiral bound notebook. I soon realized I far preferred writing love stories to term papers!

I now live in Rhode Island with my husband, two children, and our black lab. Our cat Zevon keeps us all in line.

You can’t go wrong when you choose a book by Laura Moore. The Rosewood Trilogy is a true treasure of stories centering around three sisters and their struggles to keep their cherished Rosewood Farm. Even though each book can be read as a standalone, I would suggest starting with the first book and reading them in sequence to receive all the rewards this series offers.

Jade Radcliffe was a rebellious teenager when we first met her. Now, in “Trouble Me,” the third and final book, Jade has just graduated from college. She’s going home to her family and Rosewood Farm in Virginia. Her plans are to teach elementary school and start a riding school. Jade hopes to prove to everyone that she's left her wild and troubled past behind and grown into a more mature and responsible person. Caught in a rainstorm on her way home, she takes a hotel room for the night. There in the hotel bar, Jade meets Mr. Temptation and finds it’s not easy to say no to one more walk-on-the-wild-side. The next day she arrives home to begin her new and improved life, however, "the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry." It isn’t long until Jade comes face-to-face with her last temptation causing her to fear she may have pushed the boundaries too far this time around.

This book is an incredible and unforgettable story of family, forgiveness, passion and love that was pure joy to read from the first word to the last. Do yourself a favor and give these marvelous stories a try.

In this final entry to the series youngest sister Jade Radcliffe has outgrown her angry teen rebel years. College degree and certificates in hand, she's on her way home to become Warburg's newest second grade teacher and fulfilling her dream of opening classes for young riders on her family's horse farm. Avoiding the torrential rain and slick highways, Jade decides it's safer to get a hotel room overnight.

Officer Rob Cooper has been content to raise his small daughter with the help of his family in Warburg and hasn't made room for a woman on any level in his life since his wife Betsy died. Waiting out the rainstorm after a conference, Rob stops for a quiet drink in the hotel bar. His fellow bar patrons went wild when she walked in smothered in sensuous sex appeal and rushed to spend time with her.

Rob stops the clumsy but amorous fans of the not quite a damsel in distress by spending time with Jade himself. Time that ends in a memorable and passionate night before they go their separate ways, not realizing they've got the same destination. Jade's welcome to the bosom of her family included a cottage of her own, a barn for her riding venture and a substitute teaching position until the New Year.

Hearing a recommendation for Jade as his daughter's riding teacher reminds Rob he'd always associate rebellious teenaged Jade to the worst time of his life. Adding insult to injury, Jade's his daughter's teacher and more unbelievably, she's the unforgettable not quite a damsel in distress in Norfolk that he'd shared one of the hottest nights of his life.

Jade and Rob have been likeable characters throughout the series and this reader had to ignore the unlikelihood they didn't recognize each other given their history. Following its predecessors these leads had great chemistry but not much depth and thankfully children that haven't been precious. Overall a good series and perfect beach or rainy day reads.

The Rosewood novels are a pleasure to read. Laura Moore’s stories are her canvas, and she paints each page with vivid descriptions, realistic characters and snappy dialogue. The newest installment, Trouble Me, exemplifies how the author clearly loves what she does.

Jade Radcliffe is a young woman who has finally come into her own. Following the death of her parents, she sank into a downward spiral. Her teenage years were troubled, giving her a not-so-shiny reputation. Fortunately, with the help of her sisters she overcame her demons. After she graduates college, she decides to start a children’s riding program at Rosewood -- the horse farm she was raised on -- as she pursues a career in education. Everything is going according to plan, until the man she spent an unforgettable night with appears in her classroom and she comes face-to-face with her past.

Rob Cooper has loved and lost. His wife passed away five years before, leaving him to raise their young child. He’s tried to move on, focused on his job as a police officer and his responsibilities as a single parent. Everything changes when he meets his daughter’s substitute teacher. Jade caused him all kinds of misery in her youth, forcing him to haul the underage girl into the station on more than one occasion However, Jade is no longer a surly teenager. She’s all grown up, becoming a woman he desires beyond reason.

Can two lost souls find even ground to have a chance at a future together?

Jade and Rob have an interesting dynamic. Both struggle with their pasts and are trying to move on with their lives. Although there's an instant attraction, there's also a dark history. The conflicts are well done, as are emotionally heartrending scenes that call for Kleenex. A minor complaint would be that some of Jade’s actions are rash and portions of the story are predictable due to them. However, the book is still a treat and Jade and Rob are wonderful together. Ms. Moore doesn’t simply pull a reader into her stories; she keeps them there, living in the moment, until they’re swept away by the experience. The chemistry between Jade and Rob is deliciously hot. They don’t heat up the pages, they make them sizzle and burn. Returning characters are also a welcome treat, as the reader learns what has happened to heroes and heroines from the past.

Fans of contemporary romance will love Trouble Me. Don’t miss this wonderful series.

Trouble Me is the third and final book in the Rosewood trilogy and Laura Moore wastes no time in heating things up! There is no slow build to passion; Jade Radcliffe runs in to Officer Rob Cooper quite by accident but because it’s been years since they’ve seen each other, they have no idea that they are enemies – mainly because they are so swept away by passion and decide to not exchange names.

From start to finish, Trouble Me is an excellent conclusion to the series. We get to see where Jade’s sisters are in their lives (their stories were told in book one, Remember Me and two, Believe in Me). By the time Jade’s story is front and center, if you’ve read the first two books, you are emotionally involved with this family and if you are like me, you’ve been waiting for this story to be told.

Rob Cooper harbors a lot of anger toward Jade who was the poster child for bad behavior in her teens. On the night that his beloved wife tragically dies, he is busy hauling Jade in for underage drinking. He blames Jade for not being there when his wife needed him and finding out that his hot one-night-stand is none other than the woman who is the root for all of his misery has Rob majorly conflicted.

Jade comes home to Rosewood to start her life over. She’s gotten her life together and is coming home to teach not only elementary school but horse riding lessons to children. All of her well-crafted plans come crashing down around her when she turns to find Rob Cooper sitting in her classroom on meet the teacher night!

Laura Moore tells a compelling story of how two people who were once bitter enemies with nothing in common can overcome their pasts to create an incredible future. Jade and Rob heat up the pages of Trouble Me from start to finish and in between the steamy scenes, we are once again treated to a glimpse in to the world of horses and training and showing them. Plus we finally get to the bottom of Jade’s mom’s diary and who the elusive TM is.

I read this series slightly out of order when I originally found book two and read it first. Each of these stories can be read alone and you would have no trouble keeping up with what was going on but as a series, it’s fantastic.

Cover & Title - 3/5
Favorite Character - Jade

The story starts of with a steamy sex scene in a hotel between Jade & Rob. The sex scenes in this book aren't frequent but they are passionate. The chemistry & sexual tension between the pair is clear and written in a way that i found believable. There is quite a lot of small town drama in this book & quite a few emotional things happen. The story is interesting & the ending was sweet. It has a nice happy ending & everything in the book wraps up in a nice way.
I haven't read any of the other books in this trilogy, so i cannot compare them. This book worked fine as a stand-alone story though.

I would recommend this book & I plan on reading more by this author.

After reading three of Laura Moore's books, I see that she's ideologically consistent: women are slightly in peril (hero interferes when unpleasant men are hitting on the heroine in a bar; hero cautions heroine not to walk to her car alone, or open the door, because women aren't always safe); women cry; the villains are really bitchy women; men may have issues in their pasts, but they are never shown having real difficulties with their emotions; conflict stems from plot, and stupid withholding of info by heroine; mutual sexual attraction = love & marriage. Strangely and unpleasantly familiar from my 1980s teen Harlequin reading and soap opera viewing, and not something I'd want my daughter to fantasize about. No more Laura Moore books for me...

Enter Jade, the smart aleck baby sister with more tragedy and trouble in her short life than is fair. She wants to be the 'good girl', but it's so hard. The cop is a good guy, but Jade makes him very 'bad'. That equals delicious. Their story is good, a little unrealistic, but its fiction not a documentary. I like that as the third book in the series you get to see a lot of the previous characters and some story lines continue through. If you like horses and every detail about them you will like that part of the book.

This is the third book in Laura Moore's rosewood trilogy. Like the first two books, trouble me is beautiful written. With the same loveable characters coming back plus a few more loveable ones that will have any reader beginning for more.

I also really like the third book, especially when Jade and Rob recognize each other and realize that despite their not-so-beautiful past, something strong is happening between them.

Trouble Me by Laura Moore Jade’s anxious to start a riding school for children, until she realizes how much her past may disrupt her future. Officer Rob Cooper doesn’t expect his nameless out of town one-night-stand to be someone from his hometown. Neither one of them can predict the trouble coming their way and it’s fun to see them both try to finagle their way out of it.

Jade Radcliffe is anxious to get home and start her new life. She had enjoyed her teenage years a bit too much, followed by her college days which were party-filled amongst hard work. Now she’s ready to put all that behind her and become a respectable member of society, one who will make her sisters proud. Jade plans to start a riding school for kids at her family’s ranch, in addition to substitute teaching in her hometown. How could she know that bad weather and a one-night-stand would change everything she had imagined for her future?

As a single father, Rob Cooper rarely gets out for a night, let alone a weekend. His law-enforcement conference and time spent catching up with a buddy left him stuck in a storm, waiting for a break in the weather to head home to his daughter. He can’t resist saving a damsel in distress at the hotel bar when he observes a beautiful woman trying to avoid the group of guys making bets on who will get a chance with her. It only takes a moment for their attraction to ignite, and Rob’s unplanned dance with this beauty ends with him staying the night in her hotel room.

Agreeing to keep their one-night-stand a no-name memory, Jade and Rob leave the hotel without ever sharing introductions, or numbers. Jade is anxious to get on with her life and doesn’t want a man to complicate her plans. Rob hasn’t dated since his wife passed away and he’s sure he’s out of practice. One night together was spontaneous, amazing and will remain only a pleasant memory. But we all know fate can’t help but mess with a couple whose passion for one another lingers for days after their first combustion.

Jade and Rob are interesting characters with a linked past that surprises them both once they reconnect. You’d think it would be easy for them to start over and date for a while once they realize what they had that one night might be more than just a past. But there’s much more to each of them than Jade and Rob have considered, and as their paths cross and overlap, it becomes apparent that if they ever hope to have a future as a couple, there’s a lot more than their desires to reflect on.

If you take pleasure in a novel filled with horse ranching details, or one about a teacher and her students, then you’ll like TROUBLE ME. This novel is easily a standalone novel, but I’m sure those who have read the first two novels will have fun catching up with characters featured in all three novels of the ROSEWOOD TRILOGY. With a charming ending that’s sure to make you smile, TROUBLE ME will please readers who enjoy a well-earned happy-ever-after.

I started late on this series, with book 3, so this is my first Laura Moore book. I did not feel that missing the first two in this series hurt my understanding of this book at all. There are a lot of reoccurring characters that I’m sure would have been much easier to keep track of if I had read the first two, but I was able to jump right in and enjoyed this story. Plus a story about a cowgirl and a cop is always a fun read.

I really enjoyed our heroine and hero, Jade and Rob. Jade may be young but because of the loss of her parents at a young age, she has dealt with loss and heartbreak and grew up pretty quickly. After some rough years in her youth she has excelled at college and is ready to come home to build a new life as a teacher and youth riding instructor. While enjoying one more night of freedom before responsibility kicks in, Jade meets a man at a bar and can’t stop herself from enjoying one night with him. Since the death of his wife, Rob has lived a quiet life as single parent and small town cop. At the last night at a weekend conference, Rob enjoys the company of a sexy woman he thinks he’ll never see again. Flash forward one month and Rob sees her again across the room at his daughter’s parent/teacher night as her brand new teacher. Except the Jade he remembers was a no good teen trouble maker that he blamed for the death of his wife. Even though they thought they were only going to have one night, they can’t deny the chemistry that draws them together. But can Rob accept Jade as she is and let go of the anger he’s been harboring?

I really did enjoy this story with only a few concerns/comments. I actually felt that some parts of the story moved a little slow. After their initially meeting it took almost 100 pages for Jade and Rob to connect again and their romance to begin. Also, I may have skimmed over this part, but I never knew how old Rob was so some times I almost thought that they had a large age difference but I’m not sure. Other than that, a really great story and I’d love to go back and read the first two in the series.

I won’t mention the fact that I’ve had the 10,000 Maniacs song in my head every single time I have picked up this book, because in truth this was one of the best books in a series that I’ve read. Laura Moore’s previous Rosewood novels were excellent, but this one really stole the show.

In the previous two books, Remember Me and Believe in Me, we met three sisters; Margot, Jordan, and Jade. Jade is the step-sister, related only through a shared father and significantly younger than both of her half-sisters. A troublemaker from day one, we have really seen the transformation of Jade throughout the series, but this book really helped you understand the “why’s”.

The story starts as Jade is heading back home to Warburg, VA to be a long-term substitute teachers in the local elementary school. She ends up having a one-night-stand with a gentleman that (we later find out) she actually already knows but hasn’t seen in a while (these are my favorite stories!!!). Rob Cooper, aka Robocop if you’ve read the other books in the series, is now a single parent trying to get back into the dating world. Needless to say that he’s surprised when he later finds out that his daughter’s new teacher at school was the lady he had a great night with a short while ago. Shock!

Jade was such a fun character to read about, truly through the whole series. She was very complicated, emotional, and messy. We see the whole gamut of emotions with her because we initially meet her as a young teenager. We watch her relationship(s) with her sister change and grow, but we also see her make mistakes.

Moore’s writing and characters are excellent, and she’s definitely a writer to check out if you are either new to the genre or looking for a new author to check out. The Rosewood series was the first one I checked out, but she has a newer one called Silver Creek that’s high on my TBR list.

3-1/2 stars. I was looking forward to Jade & RoboCop's book after reading the first two in the series. Overall, I liked the story line, but what was a problem for me was that throughout the book, there were very detailed explanations of the horses and techniques & equipment associated with riding. Like sometimes pages of it. I don't mind a bit of detail if it somehow applies to the story, but I don't need to know the name of all of the equipment, which kid was on what horse, or to hear the corrections that Jade is giving to each child (ex) " Let's see how you do dropping your stirrups while your ponies are walking. You're going to have to keep your legs squeezing the saddle when you do this. all right, ease your toes out of the irons and let your legs drop. No need to tighten your hands on the reins, Jenny. did you see how Maggie tossed her head? It's because you were pulling on the bit. We want to have gentle hands." I felt that those details were superfluous and really disconnected me from the story, as I ended up skimming over the parts that, while probably interesting to someone who is an experienced horse owner/rider, made my eyes glaze over. If it weren't for those parts, the book would have earned 4 stars. I quite enjoyed Remember Me, Believe Me and the first in her new series entitled Once Tempted, but not do much this title.

Oh, my goodness! I knew it! I knew it! While reading the first book, readers will catch a glimpse of young Rob Copper, the cop who brings Jade home in his police car. And when Margot told Travis about the accident at the police station between Jade and Rob aka RoboCop, somehow I got this feeling that Jade would be paired with Rob.
And to be honest, when I bought this book, I didn't even bother to read the back cover. I just bought it merely because it has Paul Marron on the cover, which is the same guy on the first book cover, so I decided to buy the series without even bother to read the excerpt. *lol

Oh, I can't wait to start the second book so that I could move on to this book!

UPDATE!
I'm finished! Well, what can I say. Despite the fact that Jade was the wildest one of the Radcliffe, turned out her part on her own book was not that wild. Of course, she did want a new life, a new image.
I gotta say, I was sooooo eager getting to the part when Jade and Rob finally recognized each other. :D And Rob, being a father and a husband once, was very nice and gentle. Jade was so lucky to have him. But I admired Jade, too, because she's able to manage her life well.
I loved it!

Jade is as high spirited and full of life as any one of her amazing horses, and she really exudes that passion in everything she does. I love that she puts her whole heart into her job as a school teacher, a riding instructor, and a lover to Rob. It feels like they are made for each other, and complement the other’s personality so well. Rob needs her to put the passion back into his life, and Jade needs Rob for his rock hard (I know what you are thinking!) sensibilities.

A perfect ending to a wonderful series. The surprises just kept on coming. I love that there is no way you could figure out the mystery of the diary until the author intended you to find you. You just kept right on guessing. The relationship with Rob and Jade wasn't an easy one, but true love is rarely easy. Catching up with the other sisters and their husbands was nice, getting to see what the family was up to, and having the sisters help Jade out in the end, was just priceless. Loved everything about this story. Can't wait for the new series to start.

Great series. That was the last one and I loved it. Jade was the troubled little sister, who suffered from the deaths of her parents and had some difficult times growing up.

But now, she's all grown-up and comes back home, to teach in a school and to work with children and horses. But she discovered that one of her little pupils is RoboCop's daughter. Robocop, the policemen who arrested her several times. (And she puked in his car during her fist arrest!)

Now Robocop is a bit changed and so Jade doesn't recognize him...

This was the first book series of Laura Moore's that I had read. I liked all three books but they did drag on a bit. The three sisters were very likeable and you were cheering them on towards their happy everafter. The stories are strong but you feel let down in some ways with certain elements. The backstory of the parents is really explained well in the 2nd and 3rd of the series. So if you happen to not read them in order you are a little confused. I love series but feel each book should have the ability to stand alone.

Much like the cover of this book of a shirtless cowboy whose face doesn't really matter, this is a romance and the actual storyline is not worth summarizing.

Hot man. Beautiful woman. A family secret. A town scandal. Horses.

This was a little too far into the pure romance genre for me. It was too long at 400 pages. The characters had about as much depth as a kiddie pool.

But, I was at least mediocrely entertained throughout and it did not cause physical pain to finish. So, all-in-all, average.

Really high, dynamic read full of conflict, angst, and swoon worthy men. I gotta say this book closed out the series with a bang. Jade's book will indeed be the epitome of, "Save the best for last." The whole plot, how nameless lovers met, to childhood conflict takes over, really setting the bar high. It gripped me with it's fist and refused to let up, right on down to the last word. This story deserves it's five stars. Nicely done.

Hmmm... it was ok... but I wasn't really sold to the fact that they haven't recognized each other... I mean, buti sana kung they just knew each other way back then as mere acquaintances... but both had a big impact on their lives so there would have been something that they'd recognize spot on. Yun lang! :)

This book was the best of the series. I couldn't put it down. The beginning was best, with a unique start to the sexual tension of the book. The ending maybe was a little too pat but I didn't mind because the beginning was so good. Too bad the cover wasn't more "RoboCop".

This was a wonderful ending to a great trilogy. From book one you weren't sure that Jade would ever get over her issues of loosing her parents with issues still standing. But grow up she did. I love meeting this older, put together Jade. It's also wonderful seeing office Cooper again too.

My favorite part was the beginning when the couple meets. It was written well. I enjoyed the story, however I felt the inner dialogue was a bit long-winded for my taste. The pacing was slow as well. My favorite character was the hero, Rob aka "RoboCop".
