Such a fun board book! It's 3D... hard to explain, but when it's closed, it makes a little ark with Noah and random animals on it. It has rhyming text, which I like. If it was longer (like Juv or YA), I'd call it "Christian fiction." It's based on the Noah story, but doesn't really delve into it. It's more about the animals and what they're up to on the boat ride. All the animals are anthropomorphized, clothed and performing ship duties. PLUS there's counting! Each page highlights consecutively the numbers 1 through 10. So much packed into such a little book- animals, Bible story, counting!

Peice connecting the book broke very quickly. Otherwise the story is fun and the art is beautiful.
