Hello!
Thank you for stopping by.
The short story is I was born in Toronto, Canada. When I was 16, my family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and that is where I met my wife, Bev.
We've been married for 43 years and share our home in Southwest Missouri with 4 dogs, 3 cats, 8 chickens, a herd of goats. We have 3 sons and 12 grandchildren that keep us hopping.
I've been known to ride my motorcycle in nice weather, play golf in nice weather, and tend my garden in nice weather. In bad weather, I prefer to stay inside. :)
Thanks to the support of you, our readers, I've been able to devote full time to my writing. Bev does our cover designs.
We hope you our books are enjoyable and you'll let us know.
Please feel free to contact us at: jdalglish7@gmail.com or on Facebook
God Bless, John & Bev

Lies and Alibis!

Book 3 in this very intricate and intriguing series was so very good that I could not put it down! Detective Annie Logan is fast becoming one of my favorites. Intelligent, driven and committed to getting to the truth and justice for the victims. She is relentless in her pursuit of the perpetrators often neglecting both food and sleep in her passion to solve very intricate cases.

Extremely well written as all of his books, Mr. Dalglish has crafted another intriguing mystery. Fast paced action that ends in a shocking conclusion that I didn't see coming. Glimpses into Detective Logan's personal life are entertaining and add just the right amount of insight to her personality.

Kudos Sir! You have done it again!.Bravo! 🎉🎉👏👏🌟🌟🌟📚💞💞

PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING, JOHN!

I have no idea just how many mysteries I have read in my 74 years. Well over a thousand! It would have been great if they had all been penned, well now keyboarded or dictated, with the same level of conviction that a story could be told without a bunch of cursing and sexual intrigue and conquest.
Dalglish has been able to do just that. In each of his offerings, he has woven together believable characters and plots that engage his audience without titillating or dragging the mind of the reader through the proverbial mud.
Please, keep them coming, John!

I enjoy John Dalglish's books. He has a very active imagination and is always fun to read. I appreciate the lack of crude language; it takes more skill, intelligence, and ingenuity to write strong characters without having them spew coarse language than it does to demonstrate their "badness" by having them throw around vulgar language every time they feel annoyed. I also have no desire to feel like I'm watching intimate moments between characters, and Dalglish doesn't subject the reader to this. I always enjoy the storyline and characters.

I am becoming addicted to all the Dalglish books

I have read many of the John Dalglish books. They are all written as if he were really seeing the story come alive as he tells the stories of policing and the criminals that are involved in the crimes. I just got another of his stories as I write this.

a nice detective mystery

Not shocking or overly detailed with gruesomeness. Just a good, solid detective story with likable characters. A great author who writes enjoyable mystery much like the original masters of the suspenseful, tasteful genre.

Murder Among Friends Annie Logan book 3

This was a good read. Sometimes, I wonder about the swift swift responses Annie gets on some of the information she requests. Turnaround times are not very fast in real life. Of course, this is fiction. On to book 4.

Readable but just not my favorite. So far I prefer his other series. The main character seemed like a cardboard cutout.

Provably a two and a half

A fair read, and I cannot put down a good mystery. This one is not the best; I lived near Bozeman for a while, and the area description was pretty accurate.
