Little Miss Princess is true royalty, the daughter of a king and queen, and she's always had servants to take care of her every need. She knows how lucky she is, and one day she decides to try to spread her luck around. But will she be able to help out with things she's never even had to do for herself?
Adam Hargreaves is an English author and illustrator. The son of Roger Hargreaves, he continues his father's popular Mr. Men series of children's books. Hargreaves also served as inspiration for the series. When at the age of six he asked his father "What does a tickle look like?", Roger used that question to create the first book, Mr. Tickle.
3,5 Stars! Little Miss Princess is a sweet, short and cute story. Although i'm not entirely sure about the message that the plot conveys to children, i see that the main theme was about helping others and being generous no matter what. The illustrations are also very nice and girly.
Of course the series is about peculiar characteristics that dominate someone's personality, and i find this genuine, still though, i would prefer if the princess was more active or stronger and assertive, in a good way. All in all, this is a good classic children's book.
Really adorable and super cute Little Miss Princess is a great story, she lives in a castle with lots of people to do everything for her but she was not spoilt she was very nice, kind and good, she does kind things foe everyone else because she loves to help others, she didn't know how to help she still tried to do her best even when she was not very good at helping she did not give in. I love that the story has other Mr men and little miss characters in it and the story is very meaningful but funny too. it's one of my favourite little miss books.
We love all the Mr Men and Little Miss. Whilst I would prefer this Princess to be more modern-day stand on her own two feet, it is quite funny and easily relatable for kids! We love giggling over mopping the carpet and putting the milk in the oven!
Rating based on the child's reaction: 4.5 stars. She really enjoyed this book, she even tried reading it to me herself. Bless her she is the sweetest. Laughed at parts of this book, mainly when I made noises to act out scenes etc......
I bought this little booklet in Belgium and it looks really cute (especially the illustrations). I bought it because of that and because it's in French and I thought I'd practise my French reading a bit.
However, the story itself is kind of strange. What is the moral supposed to be? That being pretty and rich and letting yourself be served is a cute, admirable thing? WEIRD. On the surface it's a cute enough tale, but its message to children is dubious.
Completely agree with this review: Dang little princess, open your eyes and SEE what everyone is doing for you. Then LEARN how to do those very things, so next time you want to help someone that could use your help, you would indeed be HELPFUL. All you guys, stay away from this one, as far away as you can. And Aleyda, I will not read you this book again, I don't want you to get any ideas in your head that others surround you just to please you, work for you, do things for you, etc. You need to learn how to do most things for yourself, not to be a burden to others, but to compliment others.

I absolutely loved these Mr Men and Little Miss books. I remember getting them from my granny every week. There was so much from these simple characters, I remember filling my little bookshelf with all these books making sure I had got them all in right order. I wish I still had these books but somehow most of them got lost with many house moves or my mum gave the rest away. If I ever have kids, I will make sure they get the chance to experience these wonderful, colourful books.
Little Miss Princess isn't rude or spoiled as a princess might be expected to be - instead, she's kind and generous. Her attempts to be generous and helpful get sidetracked, however, because she isn't very experienced out in the real world- she's never made a bed, she's never been grocery shopping, and so on. Perfect fit with all the other Mr. Men / Little Miss books.
Little Miss Princess is a kind hearted princess who wants to give back. She helps people and they are extremely grateful. But she always feels like she's not doing enough and one day when helping Mr Bump things become a challenge since she is a princess after all. She does her best though.
Wow. Nothing about overcoming stereotypes and being better than your upbringing in here. No. If you're a princess, you're useless at everything except bossing people around. Play to your strengths, I guess.
Little Miss Princess is Mom's #1 favourite princess!
Living in a grand palace, Little Miss Princess has everything. She even has a lot of people to do every single thing. Still, that doesn't make her a rude-spoiled-princess.
Little Miss Princess is kind-hearted, generous, and friendly. She often helps her friends by sending her people to help them.
One day, she wants to help Mr. Bump by herself. But, she is a princess who had never done any house chores before. Perplexed and confused, very puzzled about how to the house chores, Little Miss Princess ends up doing everything incorrectly.
Very messy yet adorable & funny!

Little Miss Princess was a King's daughter, lived in a very big castle and had people to do everything for her. She realised how lucky she was but she was still determined to help others. As such, Little Miss Sunshine, Mr Busy and Miss Neat all benefitted from her assistance in one way or another. She even went shopping, something that she had never done, for the injured Mr Bump!
However with little knowledge of every day chores, the latter bout of generosity went amiss! And she had quite a lot of sorting out to do before the shopping was correctly put away. But Mr Bump did say, 'You are very good at giving orders.' Perhaps not surprising for a Princess!
I am on the fence with this one cause i am not sure what type of message it sends to kids. On the one hand, it can be taken as a tale about finding your own strengths while attempting to be good and generous to others, while, on the other hand, it can be taken as a tale about a princess who cannot overcome her princessy condition and will forever remain only capable of ordering people around. I guess it depends on how one is inclined to see the world.
This was adorable. I really am not sure what else to say about it that I have not already said about other Mr. Men and Little Miss books. It was simple, well drawn, and I love the expressions the characters have, as well as the fact the characters do grow over the course of this short book.
What I really enjoyed about this book was the princess’s generous nature. Even though she was well out of her depth she still tried her best to help others and didn’t give up even when she made a complete mess of it. She kept on trying. That’s the right attitude.
34th and penultimate book in the series and another rollicking fun read - ridiculously silly with typical art work, all the things you would expect from Hargreaves and that's all good! Little Miss #34
