Overall, very good prints of extraordinary artwork by Japanese woodblock-printing master Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) - active mostly in the first half of the twentieth century.
+++ Extraordinary artwork. Japanese scenes, mostly landscapes and urban scenes.
+ Very nice to see samples of the master's sketchbooks.
++ Very nice format and very good print quality. Hardcover with stitched thick paper, good enough to cut and frame as a regular print.
+ Each print is accompanied by a one-page, useful summary.
+ Bilingual volume, useful if you don't speak Japanese.
