Got this while travelling abroad with my dogs. Enjoyed the quick facts at the beginning of each chapter but some of the in depths history was a bit much for me personally. I expected the book to be more about travel not history.

once again Dr Fohle shows a relaxed style of travel writing and with the gorgeous blonde in tow, he takes us to area of Europe that would be difficult for most people to contemplate. They are both seasoned and intrepid travellers and it is an honour to travel vicariously with them
