The study and preservation of cultural heritage have grown increasingly important worldwide, but this shift can’t be explained solely by their contribution to our knowledge of history and art or their role in the leisure industry. Ottimo percorso storico sul concetto di "bene culturale". Il punto di vista è quello del patrimonio urbano, e il riferimento centrale è alla teoria su monumento / monumento storico elaborata da Alois Riegl.
