Providing an explanation of problem solving and how it is done, 30 Minutes to Solve a Problem covers all aspects from recognizing and defining problems, through to devising solutions and putting them into practice. It uses everyday examples to explain methods and processes.
Thoroughly disappointing. Solving problems is what I do for a living and I have taught classes in it around the world. This book reads like the the "30 Minutes" in the title was how long the author researched his topic on Wiki. Basically, the book is an overview of problem solving theory that could have been slapped together by any college freshman without any real world experience or knowledge beyond what can be found on the net for free. A waste of time and effort for all involved - makes me cringe to think what else this publisher is putting out. I couldn't recommend this book to anyone. I started to rate it a two but after the delay required to write my review, it gets what it deserves = 1.
