This is a nice little astrology reference guide. It's pretty basic information, but I do like the graphics and the fact that it is an almanac, meaning that it is tailored to a certain year. This makes it so beginners don't need to look up a million different things and write them all down themselves.
It isn't so different from the plethora of other books on this subject, but it's pretty.

I am a huge fan of the beautiful, informative and inspiring book that Emma Howarth has created and look forward to reading future editions each year to help ascertain what the ‘Stars are Forecasting’ in my future.

I was attracted to this book because I have a few projects on the go and plans for my life in the coming year, and wanted to know when the most auspicious times would be for my ventures. I wasn't at all disappointed and felt that I got a lot from it.
You can follow the information in the book without even having your birth chart drawn up. And, there are no complicated symbols to learn or terms to understand. Everything is explained in simple English, and there are nice illustration throughout, and no big blocks of text.
For Netgalley readers, you may be interested to know that it's on available to read as an ARC on the Netgalley Shelf app, which means that there's no search bra to look up specific words or terms.
And only being on the Netgalley Shelf app also means that it expires in about 58 dires, so it's not going to last you through the whole of 2024 in this format. However, I was able to take a few screen shots at the junctures of most interest to me, which means i can get some functionality from what I've learned.

I'll be honest. When I first saw this on Netgalley, I was thinking horoscopes instead of Astrology. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but it really was so much more.
My familiarity with Astrology is very limited. It always seemed like so much work for not much pay off. But, this book approaches the subject in a very simple, fun, and informative manner.
Everything in this book is broken down so that anyone from absolute beginner and beyond can find and use this information. It uses colors, graphs, and charts to bring everything you need to start or continue your Astrology journey.
This may not be my normal reading, but it was light and fun. And,I can see myself using this ebook for reference in the coming year.

A Must Have for 2024
The author provides a great deal of information that is pertinent and very valuable and helpful for planning and charting your astrological horoscope for 2024. In addition, to information pertaining to charting your future in 2024, the author give helpful tips on how to best use this information, which are:
1. Using it month by month.
2. Choose information from any of the chapters to discover different astrological signs and what makes you, your friends or a love interest tick.
3. Using it to prepare for the new moons, full moons and eclipses of 2024.
4. Read the themes ahead of time for your sign as the astro weather changes each month.
5. Check to see what planets are currently in retrograde when everything feels crazy in your world.
6. And, you can read for your sun, moon or rising sign depending on what kind of insights you need at any given moment.
The author also provides the wheel of the year for 2024, and lists the astrological seasons foe 2924.
This is a fantastic resource and reference book for 2024, not only for beginners, but for the well adept practitioner as well. I highly recommend this book.

I really enjoyed reading through my sign (and my husband's) pages and reading about the traits and forecasts for the year to come (2024). I found it interesting that so many of my Gemini traits were accurately listed - some which I've not seen in other books or writing before.
The details about retrograde planets and moon phases and how they affect us all in different ways was really interesting and I am going to put some of this information into practice to prepare for each phase and change.
The book briefly talks about birth charts, but doesn't go into much detail, although it does discuss your moon, rising and other signs and explains a little about charts.
It's actually a simple and really accessible book - and with beautiful illustrations. I think it would make a wonderful birthday present for anyone remotely interested in astrology.

I loved the layout of this book, the eye-catching illustrations make it so easy to look at everything. The description of what comes in each section at the beginning of it is very helpful if you're looking for something specific. There's a lot of information included, like planetary retrogrades, times of the the moon phases, intentions, and themes for each astrological sign. It's a little bit horoscope, a little bit monthly planner, and a little bit dictionary.
I think this is a wonderful starter guide for people to jump into, and a nice reference guide for those with a little more experience. All around well-rounded and very reader friendly.

This is an attractive and easily consumable guide to astrology in a single year format. Astrology is a topic I am just newly getting into. So having an aesthetic (my Libra self demand this quality) compilation of the basics in year order with the upcoming dates for the 2024 year is extremely helpful to me. I found that this almanac had so much to offer a beginner like myself and I will certainly be buying g a copy in print when it’s released. Each section has just the right amount of info to help me focus my attentions on what exactly I might need to delve deeper into research on for each part of the year - it really helps organize content in a way that is not too overwhelming, and is in an order of when each topic is relevant to the year.

I love this book! It’s beautifully written and illustrated and easy to understand. If you’re a newbie to astrology or have been studying the subject for some time you will learn something in this almanac. The book is a combination of horoscopes for 2024 but also includes other astro information such as explanations about your Big 3 (Sun, Moon and Rising signs) as well as in depth and engaging descriptions of each sign. You’ll also find out more about the planets and houses. A perfect gift for someone who is keen to learn about astrology or wants to delve deeper into themselves through the stars.

As someone who loves to read my horoscope but knows very little about astrology this book has a great amount of detail that is easy to understand. It breaks down every month and what to expect for
Your sign or how to plan for the new moons, retrogrades & so much more! I am obsessed and have been looking to each month to plan my days & months. This would be a great book for those who believe in astrology and make vision boards. There is so much detail in here to help you plan any planner would love this.

This was such a fun read, a big thank-you to Emma! I’m a huge astrology fan and this is something I’m going to dive deeper into it with the help of The Astrology Almanac 2024 by Emma Howarth for this upcoming year! Howarth is super helpful and provides not only a list of the astrological seasons for 2024, but a Wheel of the Year, too. I consider this to be a terrific resource slash reference for beginners like myself, and for the adept practitioner. I highly recommend this book slash guide!

I loved this Almanac, because of the illustrations and simple explanations, the author truly makes astrology easy to understand and the deliberate explanations for each sign was an extra bonus. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the zodiac signs looking to learn the basics on personality traits.

Not exactly what I was expecting because for some reason I thought it would also be a planner. I still loved the book and it's very colorful with beautiful artwork. The information was great and I look forward to reading it next year and seeing how everything that is mentioned happens/manifests. Definitely will get myself a copy.

This is a lovely illustrated guide to astrology and how it affects each sign throughout the year. The illustrations are lovely and match each zodiac sign. The guide includes what each sign should expect each month, regardless of whether it is the zodiac season. The recommendations and questions to ask yourself are all valuable as to how to assess your actions.

Beautiful almanac. I’ve never used an almanac before and have been searching for one. I love the illustrations.
The content is very comprehensive and detailed. I would recommend this to any astrology lover, novice and beyond.

If you are even slightly interested in astrology this is a book for you. It has so much information that is just really cool. I really liked finding out what all the different signs meant.
