When I first saw this the storyline caught my attention. It seemed like a cool idea to have vampires originate from Hell, and have a daughter of Lucifer be involved. However...this didn't turn out to be all that interesting. The origin of the vampire isn't actual described like you would think it would be, you know...before all of the stories and tv hunks start portraying them. Instead it's set in modern times. Also I didn't quite understand how and why Lucifer had his whole Hell operation running like an actual business, with computers and having people file reports (and iphones). Just doesn't make much sense.
The writing does need some work as it is extremely causal and kind of badly formed. Overall it's not something that I'd recommend to anyone, but if your bored it'll take up at least 20 minutes of your time.

I knew what I was getting into when I first saw the name of this book.
For starters, as an explanation, it's not so much a book as the start of a story drawn out over five books. Part 1 here just gives you the prologue of the story, as well as a sample from books 2 - 3.
As for the story itself...I supposed I'd be a bit more inclined to thinking of it as a novel idea if I hadn't already read Bloodlines and Wolf Pact by Melissa de la Cruz. I had heard so much about how it was such an original idea...a vampire being the daughter of the devil, and joining forces with the angels and a hellhound to defeat her father. No...I've never seen that premise before.
The style the story is written in is fairly interesting...it's supposed to be a series of blog posts by the vampire chick. And it's not TERRIBLE writing. A few lines made me chuckle. I'm just kinda getting tired of reading books about vampire girls who are really Lucifer's daughter.
Also trying to figure out why "God" and "Jesus" were shortened to "G" and "J". I just couldn't take it seriously.

It's almost sun set and I have decided to stop in a coffee shop and try to get an internet connection on my laptop. No, I don't drink coffee. I just like the smell of it. I'm more concerned with getting my thoughts written down before I go hunting tonight. I think it's time the world knows.
Nicely done story about Rayae, the misunderstood daughter of Lucifer. She's part vampire, has a 7-foot protective Hellhound named Blink, and works in receiving, where she secretly tries to send human souls back up river out of Hell. She's a fan of Mankind. Told from the point of view of Rayae, the story is engaging and seems to be intended for a younger audience. Caution, though - this is not a complete series, more of an opening chapter to a larger story told in novella length.

An entertaining sounding premise but very poor execution: clunky writing with malformed phrases and an extremely rushed plot so far. Case in point? A sentence in paragraph three: "He'd soon kill me as to look at me." I mean, seriously, it hurts my eyes.
Also, why would you bother to shoot someone who had already died and gone to hell? Surely they're already dead?

This is the first in a series of short stories and it just gets more and more bonkers as it progresses. You've no idea who the H is although you get some idea.
I'll continue reading the series but so far i'm on the fence it might be a bit too biblical for my tastes. Also why did her mate stitch her up?

REVIEW OF BOOKS 1 TO 3!
I was asked by the author to write a review so I received all three of The Vampire from Hell books in the same one and I am so happy I did! These books were so great and they packed a real punch! They also just got better and better as the series continued! I really enjoyed them and I think that they were a great twist on the supernatural and that the plots of this series also just got better that by the second book I was hooked! Rayea was such a strong main character and I loved her! I thought that her father and her sister, Stephanie were horrible to her! Blick was so cute and I absolutely adored him and also how protective he was of Rayea! He was also such a great friend! Michael was another great character and I loved his relationship with Rayea! I definitely loved how protective Michael and Blick were of Rayea! I wasn't expecting who Rayea was going to pick to have a romantic relationship with but I loved it! There were a lot of secondary characters in these books and most of them were amazing characters! All these books continued straight on from each other which I loved since I had all three of them but now I need to wait until next month to get the fourth part of this series and I cannot wait to read it! I also like the cover!

Rayea definitely isn't daddy's little girl. Daughter of the Devil, Lucifer, Your Highness, what have you, she is put through the rigors of being tortured in order to be a stronger team player for the darkside, but all Rayea wants to do is be a player for the House of G, as it's called.
Tasked with balancing the books for her father's many business ventures, she spends most of her time soaking up the human world via social networking sites. That is, until her cruel sister, Stephanie, tattles like any good (bad?) sister would. Stephanie proves quit vicious in her approach to Rayea even going so far as to claim they aren't sisters.
Guiding her through this tough existence is her best pal slash dog, Blick, with whom she shares a special telepathic connection, until even Blick appears to turn on her, and at her most vulnerable time too!
"The Vampire from Hell..." was an extremely short read, taking me less than thirty minutes to finish. But it was enjoyable nonetheless. It could always benefit from additional editing as there were quite a few punctuation errors throughout. Typos were non-existent until around the middle where they cropped up from time to time, but all in all, the author did a pretty good job. Her style was good and her characters were strong and well-developed. The plot was well thought out, as well, and flowed seamlessly. I just wish there was more!

Not bad for a freebie, both this and the second book are free on Amazon. I really like the concept of a vampire from hell. Rayea is the daughter of Satan, sweet as pie, loves Internet shopping...and humans. Suffice it to say, she and papa don't get along all that well. He does something to her and the end result is that she becomes a vampire. He intends to use her as a killing machine, she has other intentions.
There were a few things I found funny. I like how Rayea refers to Heaven as the "House of G", and Blick, the 7 foot tall hellhound, texts.
This is a YA series, I think it currently contains four novella length books. I don't necessarily mind reading YA, I just tend to shy away from it because of the characterization - this book is a prime example, Lucifer sometimes talks like he's 15. I prefer the devil to be nasty, not a sarcastic brat. With that in mind, it's perfect to pass along to the youngins - the violence is mild, not overly graphic, and I believe there were only a handful of cuss words (the mild ones, no F words.) I will more than likely read the remaining books in the series because A) they are super short and therefore, quick reads, and B) I really want to see what happens when Rayea makes it to earth. (What's going to happen when she can shop in a store instead of through the internet?!? :) )

A girl named Rayea is the daughter of Satan/Lucifer and she doesn't agree with what her father does to humans. Rayea has no problem with humans but because she likes them too, her father wants to kill her. She wasn't as strong as Stephanie, her sister but as daughters of Satan, you have to be a strong demon and control what you want. The crazy part of this book is how humans actually get a second chance in life. Rayea is trying to give humans second chances that will allow them to return to Earth. Since she is so into helping humans, Lucifer creates a wine just for Rayea so that when she wakes up, she wakes up being a vampire with fangs. Inside of her, she is still a human and her mother was an Egyptian god which we find out that she is half and half because she is half god-like and half Satan in her. Rayea wants to escape from all of this happening. I recommend this book to anyone who likes vampires. This also shows the difficulties that a family had to go through, especially if you like humans but your a vampire. READ IT :D

I WILL read the #2...'Rayea's Revelation' as soon as it comes out in the summer and can't wait!

I really liked this free e-book. Many times the free ones aren't the greatest but this one was worth the read. It's about a demon/vampire who is the daughter of Satan, but she's a GOOD demon/vampire.She has a horrible relationship with her father whom she works for in hell processing new arrivals there. She finds herself drawn to Earth and the humans who inhabit it. She loves all things earthly-including i-Phones,Facebook, and shows about vampires on TV. It was dark and edgy but also quirky and funny as well.The end of part one left me wanting more, so I guess I'll be buying Part 2. Soon!!!

Interesting yet I loved it
I love vampire books and this definitely had a different twist. I was tired of the teen romance and sparkly vampires so I went on a hunt for something more realistic. This book had everything I could ever ask for. The main character Rayea has no filter on what she says and tells you how it is. Even though it was a short book, it caught my attention right of the back. The battle between hell and the gods (not telling you which ones) I couldn't get enough of it.
I definitely have a crush on Blick, but I know there is something he is hiding Rayea.

I'm terrible at reviews.....sorry. This is a very short part 1 novella from 'The Vampire From Hell' series. I just read it really fast and have to start on part 2 right away because it has really grabbed me and makes me want to keep reading. Quite a different take on the whole vampire genre I'm used too. Since this volume 1 edition I'm reading is a collection of the first three parts all published as novellas, I plan on doing a collective review when I'm done with all three parts. Part 4 is to be published in September of 2012.

Settling on this as something to read while I was lazing in the back garden it then sat unread for weeks as I waited for the right weather (hurray for the British weather) When the sun finally came out I found myself cursing my stupidity. I couldn't believe I had left this idling when I could have been reading, re-reading, and downloading the follow up chapters. A few spelling errors caught my eye, I have to admit, but nothing too jarring, and the plot itself with it's engaging characters more than made up for them.

If I could give this book 0 stars, I would. It was only a few chapters, which normally would bother me since I was expecting a full book, but I was actually just glad that it was over. The writing is extremely juvenile and almost feels like bad fan fiction - the dialogue is so unbelievable and childish, and it's overall a chore to read because it's so bad.

High school creative writing class project
I thought the description was good enough to give the book a look. It has its moments but . It is just to cheesy and cliche. No real spark. It could of been great but I can tell the writer is either new or still learning. Feels like a skeleton waiting for flesh to grow

This story started a bit slow, but before I knew it, it was over & just when I was getting into it. Only took about 20 minutes to read, but over all it was interesting. I enjoyed the concept, it hasn't really been done before. I look forward to reading part 2 to see what happens next.

Love this story...such a fresh take on a vampire..I've read alot of supernatural vampire series and this by far is the most original and different from all the others...I cannot wait to read more about Rayea!!!

I tried this out because it was a freebie on Kindle Books. I really liked it. It's humorous and the concept is original. Because it is a novella, I hate to reveal too much info and give away the entire story. It's really short, like 5 chapters...just read it!

I came upon this book while i was searching for books for my kindle and i am so glad that i clicked on this book.I love the idea of a vampire coming from hell...When i started reading the book i was at the end watning more of rayea's story..GREAT JOB !! I would recommend this book to anyone

A prime example of a writer taking an excellent idea and not being able to write it well enough. Perhaps I'm outside the target demographic here but it seems to be written to a much younger audience than I am and unfortunately, I wasn't able to read the whole book.

This was okay. The ending came really suddenly, so that was a bummer. It was interesting to see how exactly Lucifer has a vampire for a daughter, but it was really weird that that this is set in modern times with Iphones and everything.

This is part 1 of a free series that a friend of mine has written and I really enjoyed it. The concept it well thought out and the characters are engaging and overall its a comical, fun quick read.
