Thank you Tony Collins for sticking it to the RFU, for reinvigorating my sense of righteousness in loving Rugby League over the toff-tastic kickfest that is Rugby Union.
The author was preaching to the converted with me, as you might gather from my opening sentence. The book is laid out as a series of articles and could be read as such. I did not expect the author to write about the racial qualities of Rugby League nor the sadly lost camaraderie between the Australian and British Leagues. The book is highly informative and, although I am disappointed with the amount of grammatical and spelling errors in the last quarter I did thoroughly enjoy learning about the split between rugby codes (and the efforts of the RFU to suppress the Working Man's determination to exceed their detrimental limitations.
