Adiva Mayhew is a spy -- and a damn good one. But now she's running for her life from a deadly bounty hunter -- who's also a vampire. General Borian Tang has offered a high reward for her capture, and the man known only as Vigilante apparently means to collect. When Vigilante catches up to her, she soon finds all he wants to do is take her -- over and over again. And as she yields to his seductive domination, Adiva finds she wouldn't have it any other way. Trouble is, Tang is still determined to capture her, and there are other bounty hunters eager to claim the reward...

He leaned in until he could breathe in her ear. “How does it feel to have your master’s cock jammed up your virgin ass?” She’d never felt so helpless, so utterly taken in her entire life. “Hotter than hell.”
It's Erotica Monday! I've decided this should be a thing because Monday's need some spice. Blood Service is a scifi vampire light BDSM erotica short story.
Adiva is a member of the rebel alliance fighting the evil Tang regime. Tang has put out a two million dollar bounty on Adiva and Vigilante, the telepathic cybernetically enhanced vampire bounty hunter stud muffin, catches her. Now Tang will definitely cut Adiva into bite sized pieces which makes her amenable when Vigilante cuts her a deal. You see our fair bounty hunter has done his research and knows Adiva is a seventeenth level submissive which really appeals to his twenty first level dominant. Sadly, they never go into what exams, written or oral, are necessary to pass levels.
Adiva is wary of becoming a submissive to someone so dominant but she takes a long look at him... and thinks, "How would he feel thrusting hard into her cunt, stretching her, tormenting her? She’d dreamed of a lover like that. And she didn’t want to die without experiencing one."
Ladies this was the correct response. Many steamy pages ensue and even two fight scene (not between the MCs). Eventually we get to know the softer side of Vigilante; all tough guys have a sad story and are just looking for someone to love (#booktruth).
He stopped and gave her a long look. “You’re a seventeenth level bloodthrall…” "And you’re a twenty-first level vampire dominant. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make love.” Adiva smiled slightly. "Sweet love.” Damn right.
I think this was an excellent example of the short story scifi vampire erotica subgenre and I'm giving it four stars. Happy Erotica Monday everyone!
Always a fan of Ms. Knight. This short little story totally does it for me. Adiva ended up captured by the Dom vampire bounty hunter and things just turn steamy from there. Loved it. The sex was great. The kinkiness was hot. Great little story.
This novella was well written and edited, with no typos that I could see. The world building was deftly drawn for this sci-fi erotic romance, skillfully interwoven with the plot and characterization. Plot, pacing, and characterization were deftly, briefly drawn in this short erotic romance. The development of the romantic relationship between the vampire hero and blood thrall heroine developed organically, which requires skillful writing in a story this short. This story had low angst and high stakes, which is one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. The spicy scenes were very well done, and well balanced against all the other elements required to make a satisfying story. I recommend this story to readers who would enjoy a bite-sized erotic sci-fi romance or fans of this author's other work, which is impressive.

Book one in the All Wrapped Up Multi-Author series and Adiva Mayhew and Vigilante's story has some twists that I never saw coming. A good story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another one of those "could have been longer and better developed" stories.
Had some great character interaction and plot growth-possibilities but the end fizzled out for me. Glad it was only 0.99 cents; still not sure it was worth even that.
Writing overall is good and I am intrigued enough to look at the author's other works, but will pay close attention to number of pages before I buy.
