Excellent. Such great stories and history behind this university. I stopped about halfway because the subjects lost my interest (politics, athletics, etc), but the first half was great. I wish there wouldve been a little more about Jesse Knight though. References to his donations were made in passing, but the story that Stegner creates is Mormon Country is so great and should've been told to some depth.

Interesting to learn about BYU's tensions with academic freedom. I really found this book insightful about BYU's struggle to balance indoctrination and free inquiry regarding evolution, politics, and other topics that pushed the status quo
