Seven tales to rattle your peaceful night. Thom Reese spins these tales swift and adeptly. Great characters on a short span, he builds them with such style you know them. You feel their predicaments. I thought these tales were complete and generous for short stories. There was nothing to dislike about this collection. It did occur to me at times I was listening to old time radio broadcast. Give these tales a read, you won't be disappointed

I had the opportunity to meet this author at a comic book convention, where he was unobtrusively wedged between two booths in the artist's alley. It was such a pleasure to meet him, and I am happy to say that his writing is really amazing! I purchased his short story collection to start with, and these "Seven Tales of Murder & Madness" range from vampires to good old-fashion psychological horror. I enjoyed each tale for its uniqueness. I think if I had to name a favorite though, it was be The Death & Further Adventures of Benjamin Brick, followed closely by Liberty's Fall.

This is a really great set of short stories, and I plan on making a visit to this author's book signing coming up to purchase another copy for my father, as well as his other novels.
