Life inside the Dome was perfect. Of all the young students, Gaines was extraordinary. He worked hard to make himself the best of the best, and the Directors Board knew it. That was why they chose him to breed; he would make exceptional offspring. But when he was paired with the lovely yet manipulative Laurel, he found out things were not as they seemed. Laurel was one of the rebel faction who sought to destroy the utopian society within the Dome. At first, Gaines thought she was a traitor. But as he fell in love with her and began to question Dome City's leaders, he began to understand that Laurel was right, and that things weren't as utopian as they seemed. If their child was to survive, they would have to escape Dome City. The only question was, could they escape before the Directors Board caught them?
