Speechless, I’ve been crying off and on all day reading this. Excellent series! I love stories that make me feel like I’m there and I was definitely in NOLA 🫶🏽
I loved how this series ended. I’m glad everyone got there happily ever after. I know all their angels are smiling happy they all finally got it together.
Now THIS is how you end a series!!!! Cion Lee left no stone unturned and everyone received their closure and HEA! So much growth was shown in each character I felt like a proud big sister. The shenanigans kept me in stitches, but the heartfelt times kept me close to tears. The tribute to Hurrican Katrina and it's survivors was done so beautifully. I haven't pulled an all nighter reading a book in some time, but this book right here kept me on the edge of my seat and I could not put it down. This was a job well done and Cion Lee should be extremely proud. Her work has only elevated and I'm looking forward to what's coming next! Perfect 10!👑
This book was phenomenal. There were alot of answered questions, closure and second chances and I was here for it. The way this author is able to write multiple stories about different people following the same timeline is amazing. I look forward to experiencing more of her work. This book had me in my feelings when she touched on Katrina. I had family members in N.O. at that time and had to get some of the Dome here in Houston. I had second hand trauma from them, so my eyes watered reading that part.
If you know the story, you know this book is gonna have everything! Cion gives great closure to our favorite parents. Everyone has unique endings that perfectly fit their situations. One thing I will forever love about this series as a whole is seeing the scenes from different POVs. This book made me laugh. This book made me cry; I’m a crybaby. This book left me so satisfied.
This series was absolutely Amazing! When I tell you Author Cion gave me insight and closure in every couple I wanted to know about I mean that. My heart was about to explode towards the end because I was just so happy. I love this entire group like I know them personally. Now I just need all the paperbacks
Once again the authors continues to amaze with her writing and storytelling. After everything this group went through they all deserved HEA!! I love how the series was wrapped up.
Banga and Neffie, loved them so much. Neffie really held her man down and I applaud her for that. Jenesha went through so much, I’m so glad she got her fairytale ending with her first love.
Jamal and Keemaya were a hot mess, but they had me cracking up. They were made for each other, toxic as heck but meant to be. I’m glad they finally got it together.
Canary and Jordan hurt my heart the most. They went through so much, it sucks that trauma from their youth effected their life and how they dealt with their kids. If anyone deserved a do over it was these two. I’m glad they made amends with their grown children and has a chance to parent and grandparent together.
That’s how you wrap up a series baby. Cion you provided closure for everyone. I just so happy for Jenesha, Keemaya, Canary, and Neffie. They all deserved that happy ending. This was well worth the wait. I don’t wanna go too in depth to spoil it for anyone else. But definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cion outdid herself with this last installment. The characters matured and grew their love. Rarely do we see what happens to our favorite book Bae or heroine, but we got the opportunity here. There were things that just made sense, like Janesha waiting all of those years for Zooley while she raised her kids and focused on making them her priority and it paid off with both kids being professional athletes. And, how Zooley got out of jail on a technicality that made sense, too. Also, Keemaya and Jamal finally got their stuff together and were able to love on one another. The only couple that confused me was Neffie and Banga. They should have told their sons about their dad sooner. It is a small world and they should’ve known those boys would find out about Banga. Overall, this was an amazing read. One of the BEST 3 part series I’ve read in a very long time. It was worth the wait!!
This was the perfect wrap up to this story 🥰🥰🥰. Loved every second of it! And guess what… ALL MY QUESTIONS FROM BOOK 2’s REVIEW WAS ANSWERED‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
That's All Me Series: Camilla & Jakeem (2017) Benji and Juri (2018) Jigga and Daisie (2018) That's All Me:Julian & Felisha (2020) That's All Me: Julian & Felisha 2 (2020) Johan & Keiko (2021) The Beginning (2022) Camilla & Ja'Keem 2 (2022) That's All Me: The Beginning 2 (2022) That’s All Me: The Beginning 3
This was a BANGER!!! ‼️ (**I want to read the series all over again**)
I’m sad that it’s over…..However, words can’t even describe how this book took the cake!! It was literally “That’s All Me” I cannot give any details away. I’m holding them close to my heart!! If you don’t read this series from the beginning, you’ll be lost. So start from #1 and then you’ll understand exactly what I’m talking about. “Cion Lee”, ma’am, you did it again!! That pen to paper creativity, is unparalleled. You ate that!!! As my children say LOL’s !! Blessings Queen, many blessings!! You deserve ALL your flowers now!!! I can’t wait until the next chapter of whatever it is you bring us. I’ll be patiently waiting!! (while I re-read the whole series again ✌🏾)
The whole crew had been through the ringer and finally they all got their happily ever after. Keemaya and Jamal my gosh were just toxic but the love remained there. Jordan and Canary have been in love for decades and that he was able to they were able to start back show each that their love never die after apart for so long. Banga and Neffe just just ment to be that’s all that’s it. I feel the same way about Janesha and Zooley, she held him down for 20 years and finally has he first love back.
Truly enjoyed this read. So many grandchildren and finally babies . I'm happy Jamal and Kemaya finally got it together. Jordan finally got his girl and she finally got the help and closure she needed. I guess I'm happy Jenesha and Zooley finally got back together even though I was a big fan of her first husband but u guess she can't mourn forever . They freed a real one when they let Blair go and Nef a ride a die for real. Can't wait for the next one. Mama Martell still my favorite.
I love the Martelles and their crew and I hate that this story ended. Cion, as usual, did a phenomenal job of creating a web of characters who had depth and personality, and then building the connections between them. It was so awesome seeing Jenesha get her happily ever after. I loved how Cion kept Justin and his memory a part of the story. It was perfectly executed. And I didn't miss the connection with the Bellamy family. Can't wait to read more about that.
Is a MUST read!!! It was worth the wait(if you been reading her work since her first release the you understand) I love cion and her creativity!. You can’t tell me these characters aren’t real or my family in real life lol…. This series will have you full of emotions, crying, laughing, & angry. I don’t want to give to much away but this book 1-3 was needed and really helped me love these characters even more.
This was absolutely worth the mfn wait!!!!!! It was so surreal and I love how at the end of the day what is meant for you will be for you 🤎🫶🏾 the writing was top notch, humor was gut busting, buss it scenes panty wetting, and loyalty was the thread that quilted it all together!!!! Family, Friendship, Love, and Loyalty!!! This was my favorite read of the year I love this for you Cion!!! Of course I want more I mean who wouldn't but honestly this was the shit!
I’ve read all your books about alll these kids and characters and to see that you years later you fill in the gap with the parents and grandparents Is phenomenal. Some authors can’t remember the plot and make so many mistakes on one book and for you to do this is Amazing. If you haven’t read the others please do but Felicia and Julian was my favorite but these 3 here comes in second thank you for the journey
I truly enjoyed these character's, especially being a La native, no one understands how rich the culture is unless you have lived there! I am definitely loving those Martelle bros they truly kept it real. I couldn't even leave a review after the first two because I was so ready to start the next book, I also appreciated the length of the stories! Great job! Looking forward to reading more of your books.
Cion can do no wrong.!!! I’m so happy the gang received a happy ending & the way she paced the stories so that we could really get closure on all ends was *chefs kiss*. TAM: The Beginning series is my absolute favorite and that’s saying a lot because I love her entire catalog.
Simply fcking AMAZING. I love Cion for this series and all the rest of the books in her catalog. I cnt stress enough how thorough, calculated, and all around how precise her work is. She leaves no room for unanswered questions. If she out something in one book you can best believe everything lines is perfectly in other books. I love that for us readers. We’ll done!
This entire series is a MUST READ! The pen on Cion Lee is one of a kind. These parents set the tone of their future generations & their love stories were TOP TIER 🙌🏾 I truly went through every emotion & the amount of detail in every scene made me feel like I grew up in New Orleans. 10/10!
Hands down this is one of the best series I've read in a long time. I've been rocking with Cion from the very beginning so I didn't expect nothing less. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the parents. You did an exceptional job. Keep up the excellent storytelling!
I loved seeing the different POVs from the parents side. Everybody got their HEA. I loved reading about the parents. I loved it more than the kids story. I’m gonna miss this family. I grown to love them ♥️. I even learned some New Orleans slang lol. Yall I good time reading this series.
Coin did it again. We got to here from the parents and fill in some info about the kids. I laughed and cried while reading this. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
This was an awesome read. Cion really took us on a 20 years ride and I loved every minute of it. Every page drew me in and I’m happy I got to catch up with some of my favorite couples. Job well done 👏🏾
I loved all of the updates with these characters and I can honestly say I was entertained the whole time. The story flows so well with other books and I was engaged the entire time! Great job!
I don’t think Cion can write anything but excellence. I fell in love with these characters and was happy to see so many happy endings. I give no spoilers so read it yourself! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I’m glad to see that the fathers got it together with their sons and their women☺️ She took her time with this series and I appreciate it💜 Can’t wait for more from the TAM gang!
If you know you know! I feel like I waited the whole book for this moment right here but I won’t spoil it. This was a great wrap up, Cion touch based with all the couples & gave us the closure that we needed.
