Consequences
Consequences, then, is a “walk with me” through the process survivors must follow to tell the Anglican church their stories. It was not a pleasant journey but was a necessary one, and there is no such thing as “closure” at the end. However, this may be as close as it comes for many survivors. I came out of it stronger and freer than I had ever been. Now I knew my ghosts, and so did everyone else. I didn’t have to hide anymore.
