Overall, I found this book to be a great resource. Some of the answer explanations for the practice sets could use a bit more explanation, but the vocabulary lists and math review sections were very helpful. I found the topics on the ETS website to be more useful than the Kaplan Section on writing, though that could be due to my own studying style.
This book definitely prepared me for the test and helped me get a score I am proud of.
This book is very thorough and I do recommend it if you are about to take the new GRE. The only complait that I have is that the book came with a serial code to use on the website for a practice test, but I could not get the website to work properly. But, I do think the book is very helpful. It is user friendly and I do recommend it.
If you've never taken the GRE before, it's pretty much like the SAT's hideous, 4-hour-long cousin. Also, it's basically held in a maximum-security prison.
