This book reaches out to anyone who likes to chuckle, has lost a loved one, was ever a child, has a physical challenge, loves music, and has a brain of any variety. My experience as a writer is from an invisible chair where I watched my words move crowds through someone else’s mouth. I was a ghost writer for executives who each had a different purpose and style. “No Color For Me” is a chance to finally identify Claudia.
I intentionally offer no advice, opinions or answers as the reader is thrust into a new viewpoint through unfamiliar eyes. Each will translate my stories into their own life and come up with unique answers to their individual questions. They won’t read this book, they’ll experience it. It will speak to their hearts through my brain full of holes. My readers will want to read it more than once, and see something new each time. The question to “What is it about?” will elicit widely varied answers. The only consistent response is “What in the world is wrong with her?” As they share my tears, I want them to laugh at me, so they can laugh at themselves before the last page. This book is an obvious candidate for the next term, as we all wonder how this story will end. I’m glad I don’t know.
