Kinleigh Johnson is no stranger to the hard knock life and she’s met with road blocks at every turn. However, one eventful night leads to life altering changes.
King is a member of the infamous Joseph family. He’s the younger brother of Blitz, and they are total opposites. King is the life of the party and a well known ladies man. One day, a package left for him sends his world spiraling.
Drama unfolds and secrets are exposed. But can these two come together for the sake of the Secrets We Keep?
I really liked this story. Kinleigh found herself down on her luck and did what she felt she had to do. I loved that King was so receptive. I would love to read more about them in the future.
I love that Kin stood on business when it came to her boundaries and expectations. She didn’t let King push her into a false relationship just because they shared a kid together. I also love how King matured and respected her wishes instead of pushing his bad boy persona around and forcing her into a relationship. Kin was brave to trust that King would do the right thing toward their daughter when she was on hard times but she was doing what was best for their daughter, I’m glad so far everything is going good
Secret baby My jaw was dropped in the beginning because Kinleigh really ran off !!! Wheww child. Now Mr. King did the damn daddy thing handled with such ease and love ! I liked how we were able to see them work on a co-parenting relationship versus an instant family. Could definitely see a short on how they evolved as a couple and family. Loved that with got a cameo from Cash & Blitz 🧡.
This was a quick read that I enjoyed. Kin and King had something special after one night. King comes from a wealthy family. Kin’s family abandoned her. After losing her job Kim decides she needs to give her daughter a better chance at life and drops her off to her dad. Only problem is King didn’t know he had a child. Loved Jadori and Kings Family were absolutely crazy funny.
All because secret baby Kin was scared she lost her job but I'm glad she had a friend like Dori because she didn't hold no punches and made her go back and get her daughter I'm glad Eventually forgave her because deep down he was just upset she kept baby from him But both of them both need each other...
Dori was great friend and his family didn't play no games with either
Hopefully we get updates on this couple and family
I enjoyed this book. It was a nice short with just enough twist and turns to keep me interested. I was in my feelings when she dropped the baby off but I began to understand her reasoning even though I didn't agree. I also LOVED the dynamic between the best friend and the BD. It reminded me of Martin and Pam on The Martin Show lol.
For it to be a short book, it definitely packed a punch! I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I’m glad they made amends and got together for their sake of their child. This would make a good mini film.
