I'm not sure how to rate this. Perhaps two stars for the text, rounded up to three stars just for the quantity of photos. For the most part the text was rather dull. But the first section, a brief biography of Nureyev's life (up to 1976) was the most interesting part for me, never having read any other biography of him as yet. Few of the photos are particularly inspiring but it is obviously a lot more images than will be found in any of the standard biographies and it provides a good showcase of his work, the book recording all the different ballets he had performed in in the West up to that point in time, with photos representing the vast bulk of those ballets.
