A fun and feisty new comedy drama from master storyteller Jean Ure – with a gorgeous new cover look to appeal to all girls who love real-life stories. When Daniella Cassidy and her best friend Lisa fall in love with the gorgeous puppy in the next door garden, they never imagine they’ll end up getting to keep him – that they’ll have to save his life – or that he’ll lead them into such big trouble…A crazy real-life adventure about friendship, family, pets – and a plan that spirals out of control.

Jean Ure was born in Surrey and, when growing up, knew that she was going to be a writer or a ballet dancer. aah, I like how fudge cassidy never gives up on something and spreads positive thoughts around. I'm more like cupcake, but I don't say too much negative things. their friendship is so perfect.

joey is also a very brave, sweet and funny kid and meeting cookie was a life change for him. Imagine falling in love at first sight.

I just love this genre, whatever it is. highly recommended for those looking for happy endings

Good for kids, introduces young children to the realities of ill health, in a non dramatic way.

This book is amazing, I love how it describes all the character's feelings. I wish it was in a series because it is so good and I was disappointed when it ended because it wasn't long enough. It was funny and sad at the same time. It felt like you were a part of the story because of how well it was written.

Liked this book, though not as intriguing as most of Jean Ure's novels. I find I am actually quite like the character Fudge.

I enjoyed this book but I don't think that it was one of Jean Ure's best books.
