Victoria and her first husband started the Colby Agency and she feels like things are needing to change a little bit. So she enters a job fair and hires a couple of new recruits. You have to go through intensive interviewing and all to be hired.

She comes across Todd Thompson who is a new recruit and gives him an assignment. If he carries it out properly he will get a permanent job with the Agency. If not, then he has had his chance and maybe he can try again later.

Todd is good at what he does but he has an ego problem. Can he make finish the assignment and start working for one of the best investigating agencies around.

Check out the book . I really enjoyed it.
