Even as she sternly warns roguish Captain Gerrick Scott not to despoil her native schoolgirls or plunder her Hawaiian paradise's riches, Caitlin Price feels the allure of forbidden desire for the muscular seaman
Katharine Kincaid is the author of twenty-two historical romance novels and four novellas. Her books have been translated into multiple languages and sold around the world, even in such far-flung locations as Russia and China. A longtime Ohio resident, she now calls Hawaii home and enjoys spending time with children, grandchildren and her first great grandchild. Horses have been a lifelong passion. Katharine currently is owned and managed by a beautiful, much-spoiled Friesian horse who doesn’t yet have his own book but is working on it.
She has recently obtained the rights to all of her out-of-print books and selected titles will soon be released as updated versions with brand new covers in digital format.
The following five books are each set around the history of different breeds of horses and are among her most requested titles. They appeal to both historical romance readers and devotees of any and all fiction involving horses. Recently released as eBooks are:

I’m not really into writing about books, but since I’m all alone here…
During the first ten pages the hero is in bed with his fiancée (fiancée per the back of the book, although not really) where we find out the following: Hero wants to marry her, he has a good name, but the family lost their money. She comes from a “lower class” family. He thinks she will wait around for him to travel the world, avenge his family, reclaim his wealth, etc. She says, no way, you’re broke, and I’m not going to sit around and twiddle my thumbs while you run off for who knows how long, I’m marrying a rich guy next week. She just wanted to have one last goodbye bang. But he feels betrayed, she then pulls a gun on him (???), then says, let’s not leave on a bad note, let’s hook up one more time. I was laughing! This is all in the prologue.
The hero was an immature, horny, liar. The heroine was a self-righteous, horny, missionary.
I wish I could have given it 3 stars, but I just wasn’t interested. I just saw the characters as “characters” and not real people, wasn’t able to feel for them.
