Passion's Tempest

Rate this book
Judith Ainsworth gladly returned to London when she inherited her father's business. But coffee shops and antiques held little interest for the young heiress -- her real ambition was to find the handsome and mysterious Englishman whose searing kiss and tender touch had awakened her to womanhood one magical day...years ago.

When Michael spied the appealing girl standing on the balcony, he knew at once she was the woman who had haunted his dreams, whose portrait he had returned to paint again and again, ever since he had seen her -- and kissed her that fateful day!

I liked this one a lot, no complaints about either the H or the h, a lot of entertaining secondary characters, and the OM/villain was a fascinating character who was a major part of the story. There's a lot to this story: art, poetry, antiques, history, science, mystery, theft, murder, and a Victorian background, as most of the story is set in the time of the Great Crystal Palace Exhibition of 1851. The Queen and Price Albert make an appearance, as do Gabriel Rossetti and Elizabeth Siddal, which makes the story feel more truer to life.

It's very entertaining and never boring, worth your time!
