Sunburst Sienna, the daughter of a Pedro Beach City College professor, has been receiving threats that advise her to "Zip the lips...stay healthy." Sunburst doesn't take them seriously. Her mother, Professor Constance Sienna, calls on part time sleuth Drake Simo to investigate and convince Sunburst her safety could be jeopardized.Meanwhile, Professor Sienna's recent male companion, Larry Felicity, a Physics professor at City College and 9-11 truth seeker, has died in a plane crash in the nearby Santa Ynez mountains.As Drake examines Sunburst's predicament, his efforts intersect with a shadowy investor, Robert Tatter, and an equally shadowy corporation, Invest-Secure International. The latter corporation ostensibly engages in both construction and debris excavation. Drake's probing uncovers a potential connection between ISI and Professor Felicity's death. Additionally, Vincent Felicity, Larry's angry son and an Iraq War veteran, prowls the scene and wants answers of his own.Utilizing Facebook as one of his sleuthing tools, Drake gradually uncovers links between the sundry characters and machinations behind Larry Felicity's "accident."
