A book of this grade is generally well kept and is in good shape to read and store. Sturdy spine, all pages intact physically. Solid cover. Might have acceptable shelve wear. Might, rarely, have very limited notes.
A brief narrative of how Leavenworth was transformed from a dying logger's town into the Bavarian point of interest it is today, written by one of the men who spearheaded the movement to turn Leavenworth into a Bavarian village. Definitely interesting (though I was less interested in personal details of Price's life and more interested in the facts/stories surrounding how this little Bavaria came about). The book includes a nice collection of photos that was certainly fun to peruse.
Good brief story about the transformation of a dying logging town in central Washingon state to a lovely "Bavarian Village" destination city. The townspeople came together to bring the city to life and joy to millions every year. The book's pictures are getting rather dated as this town is still thriving and changing since this publication came out. The old pictures are great, but the renewal and preservation of the town today is even more wonderful than the pictures in the book.
