There are some really good suggestions for talking to kids so they can understand higher level concepts that were worth the price of admission. However, a lot of the examples for conversations taught a beggarly theology of going to heaven to be with Jesus "my forever friend" when I die. I'd love to see more discussion about presenting big picture salvation issues like Jesus defeating death, bringing us into the family of God, and restoring creation to children so they understand them.

I listened to the audiobook version, which I did recommend, but think having a paper copy would be better as there are several written exercises. The paper version provides room for that which means no lost papers! I listened to several sections multiple times which I found helpful. The author does mention a few other Christian authors and Bible teachers that may or may not have the same theology or doctrine as you.

Nice, quick read that helps adults think about what to say, and not say, when sharing his/her faith with a child. I like the different suggestions in the book to help condense your testimony to its critical parts.

I enjoyed this book. I am actually making this book a tool that we will be giving out to our newly structured "Child" (not baby only) dedication services. I am giving this tool out to parents the week before during my training class with them.
