Well, I love to write. That's why I do it. It's a sort of escape for me to pen a story I can get lost in and it's my intention for my readers to get lost in the tale, too. My characters come to life on the page while I'm typing and sometimes it surprises me how really life-like they are.
On a normal writing day, I sit at my computer with an old black and white TV show playing on my twelve-inch TV that sits on my desk. My dogs, Lucy and Wilder, share the office with me. Lucy has her own chair beside me and Wilder sometimes joins her in it. Add a cup of black coffee to the picture and I'm a happy camper.
Lauren is interviewing with the firm and is attracted to Justice Cane. She agrees to go to bonding camp even though she is very private and doesn't like to share. Apparently once she gets to bonding camp, Justice makes her feel so relaxed she is revealing and indulging in her fantasies and making up new ones to fit the situations she finds herself in. This book was good, not crazy about F/F but it was only one scene and could be skipped without affecting the story. The scenes with Lauren and Justice are the bulk of the book, and they are the best of the book. I started the series with Morgan's story, then Rachel and Joe's, so I back tracked to Lauren and Justice's story, and it was okay even though I enjoyed the other two more.
Heavy on sex, light on actual story content. I was hoping for more romance and it was more wham bam. Not a terrible book just not one I loved. The writing was good and I would try something else from this author in the future.
While I know I am reading erotic I like more story to my sex. I just missed the build and romance elements.
The BDSM was well handled but I hated the swapping, and that it would continue after the couple has their HEA. That was the element that killed the series for me, I felt like cheating.
