It was a western murder mystery. I was looking for a comfortable and pleasurable book of the western sort and this was just that. It was a little slow at first and sort of corny so I didn’t rate it higher. But it had a completely unpredictable twist in the last 2 chapters to unravel a murder mystery that just kept expanding. You can’t guess the ending. That alone would have me try another Gene Tuttle book. The language was clean and that was appreciated while still conveying the western genre.
