I purchased this journal in 2007 and It is a very good journal. It allows me to express my thoughts and I often go back and reflect on what was written. TD Jakes gives very encouraging advice. Sometimes he get too deep and does not write on the level of someone less educated than himself. Although I'm very educated at times I have check the meaning of certain words used. Overall the journal is a very good book.

This devotional wasn't what I expected but there were many nuggets that gave me a push when I needed so I was grateful for that. This was my second time attempting this devotional and I actually completed it this time. I was expecting it to grab me and pull me in but it did not.
