Star Maps: Astounding New Evidence from Ancient Civilizations and Modern Scientific Research of Man's Origins and Return to the Stars

Rate this book
Man is his own starship and can travel to and from the stars at will…man came from the stars…and man can have an extraterrestrial existence while on earth…

These are three of the amazing conclusion reached by author Wm. R. Fix in this dramatic and provocative book. He takes the most up-to-date scientific evidence of out-of-the-body experiences and ESP, and shows that the rapid advance of modern research in this field is constantly revealing incredible scientific knowledge, not only of the ancient Egyptians, but also of other ancient and contemporary civilizations.

In probing the mysteries of the pyramids and re-examining one of the oldest known texts on earth, Wm. R. Fix believes that the ancients developed a sophisticated science of the stars and documented their own spiritual flight to the farthest reaches of the universe.

This was a great Ancient Aliens and Speculative Archaeology read. It also deals whit shamanism of the Ancient World, remote viewing, and astral travel, and the speculation that the cients were masters of these techniques. This book pre-dates much of the current psychic research on the Ancients. I found it quite helpful in my own research.Children of Stone: Voices in Crystal

The author has drawn on a wide variety of ancient texts, histories of religious experience and archaeological studies to present an overview of out-of-body experiences as consistent in initiation rites in the ancient world. He feels we've lost touch with our connection to the cosmos, often depicted as travels to the starry realms. A fascinating theory richly accompanied by numerous photos and illustrations from ancient sources.

A thought-provoking wild ride as ever from Mr. Wm. R. Fix!

I did find out on the day I finished that Mr. Fix passed away in 2017... A sad discovery, to be sure, made even sadder for me, as I was just gathering the courage to correspond after all these years...

Thanks for shaking things up, Mr. Fix! We'll try to take it from here... RIP

[Plate from Petelia, South Italy, fourth-third century B.C.]

Thou shalt find to the left of the House of Hades a spring,

And by the side thereof standing a white cypress.

To this spring approach not near.

But thou shalt find another, from the Lake of Memory

Cold water flowing forth, and there are guardians before it.

Say, 'I am a child of Earth and starry Heaven;

But my race is of Heaven (alone). This ye know yourselves.

But I am parched with thirst and I perish. Give me quickly

The cold water flowing forth from the Lake of Memory.'

And of themselves they will give thee to drink of the holy spring-

And thereafter among the other heroes thou shalt have lordship.
