this only covers the museum’s history up to 1969 and it is definitely a biased account in terms of its laudatory/non-critical method of story-telling but it’s a really fun read if you love this museum. the photos are majority black and white but they are decent reproductions. the book is bound a little awkwardly so some of the images are hard to examine closely.
