This book begins by explaining (to a child) what a tantrum is, and lists some different feelings and situations that may make you want to throw a tantrum. Next, the author talks about why it's not a good idea to throw a tantrum, but is clear that these feelings are normal, and offers suggestions for dealing with anger and frustration when it happens. Some reasonable solutions for avoiding anger-inducing situations and people are illustrated, and it's all wrapped up by reiterating that angry feelings are normal and should be expressed, just in a less disruptive way.
