I got this book as a Christmas present to celebrate the fact that I had stopped being a vegan and was once again (after years and years) eating "normal food." It is a fantastically complete book of All American Cooking. I have explored the baking sections quite well, and I have never been dissapointed. Every recipe that has become a staple of American cooking can be found in this book, and these recipes are such that you have no doubts as to why the foods are so well-loved.
