For years, I have sensed that churches in the United States have propagated an unnecessary division between academics and devotional life. It is my belief that the best Christian teaching should challenge the mind and stir affections for Christ. After all, we are not called to love the Lord with our heart, soul, mind, or strength; rather, all of our faculties are to be engaged in the worship of, and dedication to, our King Jesus. With this belief as my heart-cry, I have labored to produce 24 essays that delve deep into the Word of God - not to show my theological prowess, but to spark a knowledge and fear of the Lord that will lead to zealous obedience and worship.
