Die Handlung war überzeugend und glaubhaft, die Charaktere sind sympathisch und humorvoll gezeichnet, die Szenen perfekt ausgearbeitet, die Wortgefechte witzig und intelligent. Alles in allem gut gelungen. Einziges Manko: die Liebesszenen (die für mich zu einem historischen Liebesroman dazugehören) lassen lange auf sich warten und sind - mit einer Ausnahme - nur angeschnitten.
