A scritchy-scratchy grasshopper, a shiny beetle and even a slimy snail aren`t scary - touch them and find out. However, the creature on the last page, which comes with a big pop-up surprise, may just be scary!

This is a cute book!
I do, however, change the wording of the last page to also say "I'm not scary!" about the spider...I am petrified of spiders and I've done so much work to ensure my little girl doesn't learn that behaviour off me too. She loves insects and spiders and I'm not about to change that now!
