I have been a student of Mythology most of my life and I constantly scour bookstores and websites for any new nugget of mythical information I can absorb. Sadly most writings on this subject are dry and while filled with exciting information works better as an insomnia cure. Imagine my delight when I discovered Godchecker while researching some random deity...finally a source of random, obscure, and well known gods that is a blast to read!

I was ecstatic when I found out about their book and was not let down! Having their information in a hard copy for my collection is great, plus its small enough to fit in my (large) camera bag so I can whip it out and bombard poor strangers with random gods! The book is well organized by areas of the world and the illustrations are amusing. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Mythology but finds most books on the subject too dry.

It is a huge inspiration to my art and I hope for a book two in the future!
