This book was very good. It teaches the principles of Taoism and the exercises of Qi Gong. I found the book to be very interesting. It helped me think in terms of more than just myself. There are principles that help you let go of the past and grow stronger in your own power.
I found the exercises that were shown in the book to be very good for gaining some ability to breathe better. It also helped me see that I can do more once my body is in better shape. I loved the exercises.
This book was very good for teaching the ideas and principles of Taoism. It helped me see something besides the religion that I have lived with for many years. I think that it could help other people as well. We all need to think about how our lives affect other people.
This was a very good book. I loved it and found that the principles can help people grow and develop in the ways of Taoism. I want everyone to be able to read this book. I also think that it is important for people to see the website that is associated with the book.

One of the best books I have ever read on Qigong and Taoist theory. Bedroom Shojai's style of writing is easy to read, yet he covers a huge amount of ground, making some quite complex and abstract principles easily understandable. Above all, it's a hugely practical book, covering not just the physical side of qigong practise, but offering invaluable and highly effective techniques for emotional and energetic clearing. I would highly recommend this book to virtually anyone...Shojai offers a wealth of information and tools that could literally change lives.

Very excited to get started reading this book!

This book promised "meditation and synthesized forms of Qi Gong (Chinese energy yoga) from Taoist, Buddhist, and eastern medical traditions to teach modern audiences simple, profound methods to find balance, energy, and peace in today's world" and delivers all that within its pages.

All of these areas are fascinating and learning how to use these methods is important for both personal growth and for developing a more balanced world.

I study Taichi, and I thought this book would explain how Qi Gong, Daoism and Buddhism tied in with Taichi, but I was disappointed. It seems like the author has studied a lot of Kong Fu and Eastern philosophy, but I didn't think he did a good job of explaining what it was about. There is a lot of esoteric, mystical stuff such as theories about alchemy, and it just seemed like New Age baloney to me. Also, the book isn't very well written.
