It's difficult for me to pinpoint exactly why, but I find this author's writing so compelling and addictive. I could barely put down any of his books and this one is my favorite. I find the whole story so interesting. Blanche is quite the character. I loved learning about her life and the mix between the past and present was very cohesive. I highly recommend this one.
