This is a wonderfully up to date book on a large variety of treatment options. My only issue is the nutrition section is greatly lacking and there is a contradiction between anti inflammatory meds not being helpful and yet anti inflammatory vitamins being recommended. In the end, this is a great book to get you started in finding the best treatment for your variety of fibromyalgia, since we all seem to be like snowflakes.

The title of this book is misleading because fibromyalgia is a condition for which there is currently no cure. A more accurate title would have been "The Complete Guide to Managing Fibromyalgia." That said, this little book is a good resource for anyone who has fibromyalgia: those who are newly diagnosed and are wondering what happens next; and those who have been suffering with the condition and are wondering what else they can do to manage it. I would also recommend it to anyone who has a loved one with fibromyalgia, as it will give them a better understanding of what their loved one has to deal with on a daily basis.

This is a great book for someone who was just diagnosed. But if you're like me and you have read a bunch of books on this topic already, there is no new information here.
