A very detailed analysis of Britain's defence posture, highlighting how the British Armed Forces are being overstretched by increasing commitments overseas alongside decreasing capabilities following massive shrinkages in spending since the end of the Cold War. Black's warnings over the future of Britain's defence policy are alarming and urgent. An excellent book, that should be widely read.
